So, first things first, the table itself is beautiful and is great quality. However, cottage white was not the color we ended up with. The boxes were both labeled Cottage White but as you can see in the pictures, it’s definitely more of a grey toned color (as you can see in comparison to the white cabinets behind the table). Which, honestly isn’t a dealbreaker for us, but was disappointing when looking in comparison to the photo on the listing. We also had one chair that was missing a pre-drilled hole for one of the legs, pictured. Thankfully we had a drill and were able to resolve that issue with no problem, but that may not the the case for everyone, so it’s worth noting. One other minor issue we ran into was one of the chairs had a small nail protruding from the top section on the inside (pictured as well). Again, something we were able to tap back in with a hammer, but worth noting. Another small issue we had is that one of the knobs for the drawers didn’t fit because the insert that connects with the screw in the actual knob was too far back and the screw meant for that part wasn’t able to fit because of it. All in all, the table and chairs are all very sturdy and are absolutely beautiful, but just wanted to be transparent about our experience so that whoever reads this can make an informed decision. ... show more

I was looking for a farm style table with a bench to fit in my small kitchen, and after searching facebook marketplace and yard sales decided on this one since it was new for the price people wanted for their old, junky ones. But boy was I disappointed. Most of the wood pieces came with nicks or scratches right out of the box, and one of the chair bolts must have been a defect, because there was metal inside of the hole to screw it in, leaving it unusable, thus making one of the chairs unusable. The edging that goes around the entire table is clearly an adhesive strip that is heated onto the sides of the table, but in this case, the heat severely damaged it, and it looks awful. The color also claimed it was brown and "cottage white" but as you can see in the last picture against my cottage white cupboards, it is clearly more on the grey side. Also, as you can see in the second to last picture, the paint wasn't even painted on evenly in any of the grooves of either the table or chairs, as many of them were missed by the paint entirely. Now after only two months of use, we have found that the chair bolts are CONSTANTLY coming loose, and we are consistently having to tighten them to avoid loose legs. We now have 2 of the 4 chairs that are broken, and unusable. In the third picture you can see that one of the legs on a chair busted completely and we had to glue it after the bottom bolt came loose. We aren't large people. I weigh 130, and my husband around 170, so I don't think this extent of damage should occur on what is supposed to be sturdy wood chairs! Overall, definitely not worth the hassle of constantly fixing a brand new table, and definitely not worth your money!! ... show more

Three chair are wobbly, the screw for the draw knob does not fit inside the knob and finally one bolt on the table leg will not tighten. It only goes in about a quarter of an inch. So not happy with that at all. Too bad after I check that nothing was broken that I got rid of the boxes. Advice, put together first before getting rid of box. ... show more
