You need a second pair of hands to help with installation one to lift and another to connect the wires , works fine once its put up, by me it ended with a burst of fire and the fuse tripped it seems that the led driver went bad i don't know if that is the norm or an exception. Light looks great; hopefully the LEDs last a long time bc when one of the three rings goes out, aesthetically, it won't look the same... You don't need an electrician in my opinion. I'm definitely not one but have installed plenty of fans and other ceiling fixtures over the years. The fixture is fairly heavy as lights go so you will either need someone to hold the fixture while you wire it in and then attach it to the bracket or something tall to balance it on. We utilized an 8 foot ladder (in addition to the 6 foot ladder I was on) by placing the box w/ the fixture still essentially packed in it on top of the taller ladder. For our ceilings it worked out well as I then had enough slack to wire it together and then lift it up to attach with the four mounting screws. Be sure and get all the extra wire in the housing as you raise it to attach it. I essentially "wound" the extra slack within perimeter of the housing. After, we gently lowered the rest of the box down to release the rings. Warning: We had some smallish glass shards on the floor after I finished unwrapping the rings from their protective wrap. I gave a quick look at the crystals but did not see any apparent chunks missing so I have no idea where they all came from. Wife is happy with the light. I was worried it might be too "blingy" but thus far, I like it. It is definitely eye catching to guests. We got the "cool" color temp as we thought the warm temp wouldn't go as well with the silver and crystal look. I'm happy with that decision. Lights looks really cool at night from outside the house night as well. If one of the LED rings fails anytime soon, I'll post an update. ... show more

We bought the three ring light which we really like - once the seller provided us with a way to dim it. It was much too bright without it. We used the email system through Amazon to contact the seller and told them we were going to have to return it if they couldn't provide us with a dimmer. They said they would do so and promptly sent us a dimmer (shipped from China) which arrived in 5-6 days. The dimmer is like a ballast which requires you to uninstall the light to install it. They also sent a battery powered remote (two AAA batteries required) to dim the light. I do not believe it would be possible to dim it with a typical dimmer from Amazon or one of the big box stores. The directions that came with the light and later the dimmer were very minimal but as a DIY person I went with the directions and what seemed intuitive and everything went well. The light is quite heavy to support during installation. I was installing on a 10' ceiling so to support it I sat the light in its box (with the side cut out) on top of a 6' ladder while I stood on an 8' ladder and my wife held the light steady while standing on a three step ladder. The final result is stunning - when dimmed. However I wish the light wasn't such a bluish 6000k light. I have no idea why the company doesn't advertise it as a dimmable product, which it should be. ... show more

Wow, this light is beautiful! It gives that wow factor! This light was easier to install than others as I’ve ordered multiple lights. Just use multiple ladders to hold it up as it is very heavy.

As pictured, I put the 3 ring chandelier in the living room. I bought the cool white but would highly recommend getting warm white. This light is bright and harsh in the living room. After the install I contacted Merosee and they very graciously and speedily sent me a dimmer for the light. I do think I would have had to take it down if I had not gotten the dimmer. Please read the specifications carefully and then talk to someone who is savvy in understanding lumen and kelvins. This light is probably 5000K, my electrician thought 3000k would be more than enough and still probably brighter than you might want in a dining room unless you are going for hospital cafeteria bright. With the dimmer the light is perfection!! I love it and get many compliments. I have also have the 5-ring light in my foyer. ... show more
