    • Great wireless headset with fantastic sound and features.
I have tested this headset on PC, XB1, PS4, and switch. They are great for gaming audio, which is their primary purpose, the field is clear, crisp and gives a great nuance of immersion within gameplay. PC and XB1 are definitely the shining stars here as the inclusion of surround (especially with sonic and Atmos) takes it to another level. PS4 and Switch sound great as well, but does not have the same soundstage as the previous two mentioned. The comfort is phenomenal and I do recommend ordering, as I did, the cloth layered earpads from the companies website, if you prefer a cloth based ear pad. Battery life clocks at around 18 hours, if not slightly more. As I said before the sound is amazing for gameplay, it is great for movies, but they are not as good with music (The are very good, but not great). The other feature that is worth mention would be the mic monitoring, it works fantastic and allows you to be able to keep the volume of your voice at a reasonable level. As a gamer who has been gaming for over forty years, I can easily recommend this headset to friends. Update (10/1/2019): The headphones are still phenomenal and I could not recommend them enough. You have to make sure to adjust your Xbox audio settings properly for the sound to be stellar (I still recommend using Atmos). I see some people complain about having to use a cable for chat on Xbox1, but it is clearly stated you have to and if your primary console is Xbox1 then purchase the LS35X which is designed specifically for that system and does not require a cable for chat. Also do not try to twist the cups too far as they are only suppose to be slight adjustment, not flat fit when around the neck. ... show more

    • Really solid headset - UPDATED with Issues
This is a really nice headset. It works perfectly on PS4, completely wirelessly. On XBOX ONE, it requires a wire from the headset to the controller for chat, but if you don't want to talk, you can still get audio completely wirelessly. For some reason, the chat doesn't always work like it should on XBOX ONE. For whatever reason sometimes I can see that teammates are talking but I can't hear it. I have to unplug the chat wire and plug it back in, and sometimes I have to turn the headset off and back on, but I can always get it to work eventually. The only other thing I don't like about it is the mic monitoring isn't adjustable, just on or off. Overall it's a really nice headset and it works well for Blackout. I can usually hear things before my teammates. People always ask me what headset I have, and I do recommend this one. Now that I've had this headset for over a year, the micro-usb charging port has gone bad and the headset will no longer charge. It is just outside of the warranty period, so I had to order another one. I ordered the same exact model from Amazon, the same seller and posting that I had ordered previously, and I think the item I received this time is refurbished. The packaging was different and there were fingerprints on the metal portions of the headset indicating someone had handled it and repackaged it in generic packaging. It seems to work fine, but that is pretty disappointing at this price. ... show more

    • Separate chat/game volume controls = Heaven
I've been using these with my launch-model PS4 for about a month now, and have really enjoyed them overall. Battery life seems to be at least 12 hours, and probably longer (I don't go too long between charges). Everyone I've chatted with says that I sound crystal clear as well. They're pretty comfortable overall, but don't seem to hug my head quite as well as my old Turtle Beach set did. I wish these had angled ear-cups like most modern headsets. I feel like that would make a big difference in the overall fit. I'd also like to see a microphone that's a little more robust, despite the one it has being perfectly functional. The biggest and best feature (and the primary reason I bought these) is having separate controls for chat and game audio. Not having to tweak the sound settings in the game menu is SO NICE. If you can't hear someone talking.... crank up the wheel on the right ear-cup. If the game is too loud... lower it with the wheel on the left ear-cup. This is a feature that isn't on many headsets under $100. I highly recommended the LucidSound LS31 if that's something you're looking for. ... show more

This Headset by LucidSound is everything you’ve dreamed of in a Gaming Headset!!! Construction quality Grade A high end, Mic is Good but I primarily use my Other Mic on stand etc. Very Comfortable and stylish looking, yes they’re big but look at every other over ear headphones. At the price I got these for honestly astounding I would of paid upwards too $200 for a headset of this quality. Considering my Gaming Setup desk monitor highend speakers that take Optical Audio and Xbox along with every other device out there has one opt audio output but I grabbed a Amplified splitter can either use a switch or splitter your specific needs will define that me I want my headset and speakers running same time so no switch etc. There’s also a nice USB headset stand in here for around $30 gives you a stand plus two regular plug outlets along with 3 usb outlets for charging headset. I will be making a review video shortly since there isn’t much about these headsets but I’m grading an A+ and extremely underrated company this is like Harmon Kardon quality mixed with Bose and Boston Acoustic, yes I know my sounds and company’s brands I’m a 29 year old father of 3 you cannot go wrong with this headset and if still on sale just buy now thank me later ... show more

    • Lasted a while. Not great for sleeping. Good sound Quality
I bought these 2 years and 1 month ago. They have been wonderful with little to no issues. The range is ok, if I go into another room they start to cut out. I sleep with headphones on and the mute button is on the side is not easy to get used to because if you lay your head on the side it tries to mute and unmute all the time. After just over 2 years the Plastic cover with 4 screws holding the swivel cover on one side cracked down the middle and broke. I looked at the other side and it was cracked also and about to break. These have been good for 2 years and thankfully I purchased the protection plan for it. ... show more
