I like the brown tactile switches more than any other I've used, though this keyboard is only for gaming; I use an ergonomic when typing. My only real complaint is that I deeply dislike the placement of the FUNCTION key, which is needed for the media controls that I use frequently. Too close to the gaming-necessary (for the things I play) ALT key. May remap it. My personal favorite feature, though, is the detached wrist pad. This is very useful, especially for old guys like me, who have arthritis and other hand/wrist issues. Being able to place it a little back from the keyboard, and/or a little bit off center, has increased my comfort and playing time a good bit. I hope whoever came up with that feature got a raise!

This is my second G513 keyboard, and obviously as I'm buying a second I think it's a good product. I originally purchased the Romer G Linear version, and now have the GX Brown Tactile version of the keyboard. As I use the keyboard mostly for work I found too many typos were made with the linear keyboard, tactile seems to be the way to go for me. My only concern is that the latest keyboard seems to have come with cheaper construction. The keys a few years ago passed light through to the symbol and function indicators which was a nice reference, now those symbols are just grey font on the keys. Additionally the cord used to be braided which looked very professional with my desk setup, now we have standard plastic coating which appears cheaper. Taking a star for that, knowing that it was a 5 star keyboard only a few years ago. I don't game often enough with the keyboard to have any comment there.

I love this Keyboard. I got the red Switch version. The keyboard is a full size board and looks amazing. Super high quality materials and has a built in USB pass through on the top right rear side. The cable is braided, thick, and high quality. The lighting is amazing and each key is individually lit. You can of course pick any color of combinations you like as well as change the lighting patterns and intensity. The switches themselves feel fantastic and still make a very satisfying but quiet noise. Great for both gaming and typing though red switches are best for rpgs and mmos imo. I personally use it for gaming. The included wrist wrest is high quality nice thick leather with 4 padded edges under it to hold it in place. It can be moved and does not attach to the keyboard but will stay where you place it. This makes it way better than attached ones imo. It has a built in pass through under the wrist wrest for your headset/mouse cables as well. It also comes with 12 extra notches keys to replace the standard ones for 1-5, QWER, and ASD. Basically all your gaming keybinds and they feel super nice. I wish I could replace all the keys with them as they feel that good but the standard ones are also great. Overall for the price this keyboard is a 10/10 for me. I love almost everything about it. The only downside I can think of is the volume controls. There is no dedicated volume nobs or switch so you have to use the FN function to control your volume which isn’t a big deal for me but may be to someone else. I’d say if you’re in the market for a comfortable, high quality, full size gaming/typing keyboard you can’t go wrong with the Logitech G513. Included pics of the keyboard and wrist wrest as well as the lighting on and off and included extra switches in place. Hope this helps you out.

Have been using this keyboard for over a year with no issues overall in its functionality, however, when it comes down to the cosmetics, the black coating on my most used keys has worn off within weeks/months, making some keys almost unreadable. Not a huge issue, since I type without looking, but it's not a great aesthetic. The replacement keys that come with the keyboard help, but they wore down quickly as well.

The keyboard's keys are nice to the touch and you get an extra set of special keys for gaming. The wrist pad is comfortable, which lasts me through long gaming sessions. Customization with the RGB I don't use much but exploring that area was easy through the app and the RGB is nicer than my previous keyboard. The volume control keys could definitely get an improvement for you would have to memorize which function key is for what volume control. If the side of the function keys could also light up showing the image better on what each key does, that would make this keyboard in a higher league than it currently is in.
