5.0 out of 5 stars | This bike helmet is a good value
I just needed a regular helmet to ride my mountain bike but I came across this one that came recommended by a blogger. I was kind of hesitant about the "smart" features and gadgetry because they seemed over the top for what I needed but the price was equal to a helmet with no features so I decided to move forward. Firstly it is important to notice that the lite version comes without a remote which means that if you choose not to use your phone you are out of luck or you will have to buy the remote control separately. Given the fact that I have an iPhone 11 pro I am not ready to attach it to my bike and have it shatter in the trail. The lights on the helmet hold charge for about three hours. I generally ride during the day and in the trail so it makes sense to keep them on to assist other riders in doing an early spotting and reduce the chance of collisions The helmet fits quite nicely and the padding compares to that of my Smith helmet. I read other reviewers talking about issues with the battery. I will update my review in three months if I face the same difficulties. According to the blogger that recommended this the issue with the batteries was already resolved by the time she purchased her helmet.

4.0 out of 5 stars | It Can Be Improved, Just Slightly
Color: BH51T Neo-Grey
Size: Large (57-61cm）
I love safety, and I recently got an e-scooter. And this helmet works as in safety. (Note: This helmet model does not have the speaker or mic) It fits nicely on your head with the adjustable dial in the back and the straps around your chin. The battery life on this helmet would last a long. The main reason I bought this helmet is to indicate when I'm making turns because I can’t drive and do the hand signals while riding an e scooter. It works in low light conditions, however, if it’s a nice bright sunny day outside. You wouldn’t even see the lights blinking unless I’m right next to the vehicle or person. The lights can be a little brighter so it can be seen at least 15 to 20 feet away.

3.0 out of 5 stars | No mic and no speaker
It didn’t have what it said it had. No blue tooth speaker and mike. The rest was ok. Lights and comfortable.

2.0 out of 5 stars | Weak LED, no continuous blinking, confusing turn signal, no headlights
I really wanted to like this helmet, but it failed my expectations. The cushioning inside the helmet is very thin, especially on the forehead, it's itching and leaves marks. But my biggest complain is the main reason I decided to get a smart helmet, the LEDs and they are a disappointment. - LEDs are very dim. There are no options to regulate their brightness. - There is no headlights on the front only amber turn signal. Cheaper Chinese models have white lights to get noticed at night. - There are no switchable modes for the break lights, like flashing, blinking, or continuously ON. LEDs turn on ONLY when it sense deceleration. This is not enough to be noticed at night by passing traffic. - The turn signal activated the brake lights too and the amber lights are animated like on some modern cars. It's confusing and not very noticeable because the red light overpowers the amber lights and the animation repeats itself like 3 times and then stays off. When I am at a red stop, I want it to blink until I press the remote once again. But this one goes off automatically after 3 blinks and I have to keep pressing the turn signal button. I wish the amber lights would just blink normally when I press the remote and keep blinking until I switch them off. - The helmet goes constantly into standby. This can be disabled in the App but then I have to keep turning the helmet on/off manually every time. Not very smart. I ended up buying a cheap 10 USD Chinese LED break light and glued it to the helmet. This cheap light is much brighter than the helmet's own, and it can blins continuously, it also turns itself on when vibration is detected and turns itself off after few minutes when i am stationary. This is what I've been expecting from a "smart" helmet.
