It was working great and I really liked it
This washer was installed in my home just over a month ago...It was working great and I really liked it...until one day returning home from work after leaving a load to dry in it...It was full of water FULL...started leaking out of the door and flooded my laundry room... I drained it and it seemed to be functioning OK I contacted the tech support at LG and they didn't know what was wrong... I followed their instructions and ran a small load and the maching seemed to operate OK... But later on that evening I went to open the door and once again it was half full of water.... this water comes in in now whenever I am done with using it... It is completely dry for hours after the maching shuts off...then when I go back to it...there is water coming back in ...this morning I woke up and opened it and had to quickly shut the door as water was pouring out... I checked the faucets and they wee turned off.... So somehow this machine is malfunctioning...and I am VERY disappointed I want to return it...but see I have had it hooked up and running for about 5 days over the 30 day return limit... !

Avoid unless you DIY freak
Design of this combo washer/dryer is perfect ,but Chinese parts and assembly is very poor. It works flawlessly , wash, dry ,spin, drain until some of the parts is broken. I have this machine for less than two years. This month was terrible. First I replaced by myself Water Inlet Valve when water didn't stop to flow into machine during rinsing and second issue comes few weeks later , when machine stopped to drain water, so I bought new drain pump and replaced broken. Now in my middle age I know how to disassemble LG washer machine . Life is Good. Indeed .

Positive: Machine is the same dimensions as a standard dishwasher and has the same water hose connections and drainage hose. Unit is ventless and plugs into a standard 110 volt wall plug. (All of which is extremely important to me as we live in a small loft and the unit is installed under out countertop next to our dishwasher in the kitchen) Negative: Drying takes 2-4 hours to complete. There is no lint filter, so the condensation tower has to be removed and unclogged about once a year, otherwise the dryer will stop working.

I have been using this combo for a while now and have absolutely no complaints! The machine cleans very well although the drying cycle is a little longer than a dedicated dryer but the convenience is worth it.

I highly recommend a rubber mat or pads to minimize vibration
Spin cycle is somewhat loud. I highly recommend a rubber mat or pads to minimize vibration. You can do decent-sized loads, but everything comes out REALLY wrinkled. The ONE wash & dry cycle takes a really long time, like up to 6 hours.

Machine's wash cycle selector lights stopped working 3 days after the machine was installed
Machine's wash cycle selector lights stopped working 3 days after the machine was installed, and since then, I have been trying to get it fixed through LG's 1 year product warranty to no avail.

Great product!
I love this washer/dryer combo! The only thing I do not like about it is that once my clothes are dried, they are very wrinkled - to the point where I need to iron just about everything. Not a huge deal, I have the time and I rarely iron anyway so this gives me a chance to use the fancy iron and ironing board that collects dust. Overall though, a beautifully engineered product that does a tremendous job at thoroughly cleaning mine and my son's clothes.
