abunda_amazon_reviews Same picture as all other models in the LG 2017 OLED Lineup. B7A (this model), B7, C7, E7, G7, and W7 will all have identical picture quality to this model. So what is different about this model? Unlike the C-W7, this model comes with a cheaper stand, similar to the B7. It also does not come with the picture on glass that E-W7 models have (this feature is primarily to reduce glare and screen reflections and is more aesthetically pleasing.) The biggest difference between this model and the rest of the lineup, is that it does not have native support to decode Dolby Atmos sound. That means Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. streamed through the TVs internal apps will not support Dolby Atmos playback, and instead will default to Dolby Digital output, even if whatever show or movie you are watching has a Dolby Atmos track. Does that mean that I have to forgo Dolby Atmos if I want this cheaper model? No. If you have a dedicated receiver and speaker setup that supports Dolby Atmos, you will still be able to experience Dolby Atmos through external sources, such as Blu Ray players, PCs, etc. Only content that is played through the TVs apps will be without Atmos. If you don't need Atmos playback through the TVs internal apps, or if you have no idea what Atmos even is, save yourself 300 dollars and buy this model over the B7/C7 models.;;Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2017;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Same Picture Quality for a cheaper price;;Trevor Ralph;;;LG Oled. Picture on glass is cool, but I'm watching my screen for the amazing 4k, not staring at how pretty looking the glass is around the screen. So if you don't NEED those two things, get the B7A. :) A few things not mentioned in the description. The stand on the TV is black plastic mated to a clearish plastic. Looks great! When the TV Arrived I was so impressed the colors were impressed and I am a huge sports fan and it looked fantastic (I got the 65inch one). About a month later I had a purple bar running up and down the TV that seemed pixelated when I turned off the TV it still illuminated the bar. I am far from TV expert and I researched online and I couldn't really seem this to be a problem normally associated with the tv. I was right on the 30 day mark maybe a day over and called Amazon and told me to go through LG as this was a warranty issue. LG is an absolute disaster dealing with. They made me download an APP to see the problem then were going to send out a technician to see if it was actually covered by warranty or if I did something. THE problem is they could not find anyone to come and service TV and claimed they had 30 days to find someone so I had another month of dealing with a purple bar running throughout the TV I had paid 2200-2300 dollars for. It just was a terrible experience and they could care less LG. I finally called Amazon again and asked for a supervisor and they said no problem they were sending out a new TV And taking the bad one back. Thank god I bought through Amazon. The LG supervisor promised to call me back in a day and I haven't heard from them in a week. I Dont know if this a co moon problem and maybe some people who know kore about TV's could add more insight as im clueless with this stuff but im just so glad I domino have to deal with LG anymore. Great picture, defective unit, worst customer service ever
This TV was great while it worked...but it stopped working on 3/16/2018, 4 months after I purchased it. Dealing with LG customer support trying to get them to honor their warranty is a complete nightmare. They couldn't get a tech out until 3/28, and then gave me the run around for a couple weeks until the finally told me the part to fix my TV was not available, they would not provide a replacement unit, and they were going to reimburse me...AFTER they received the defective unit. Ultimately I did not get my check until 5/22. I am never buying an LG product again...they couldn't care less about their customers.

Beware screen burn
This tv actually gets an awesome picture but beware: There are cautions regarding screen burn in - heed them. I've been using a certain dvr for my recordings. After about 3 months I noticed what appeared to be burn in due to the dvr. I found a setting for 'pixel refresh' which fixed the picture like brand new. That worked about 3 times but doesn't anymore. That also happened with a video game I played on the set regularly. Now the tv is pretty much ruined and this is not covered by either LG or Square Trade warranties. I've never had this problem using my dvr or video games on lcd or led tv's - only this Oled. I still play video games on my first lcd which is over 10 years old with no sign of screen burn. Again, heed the cautions in the manual and the warranties.
