I find this desk incredibly useful and helpful. I find this helps a lot when laying in bed. It keeps my laptop in place and I can comfortably use in while sitting or laying. The handle is quite useful too as I keep the desk by the side of the bed and it's easy to quickly grab.

I was looking for a lap table for my laptop so I could use it on the couch or in my bed so I could stay closer to my loved one while working. The problem with the found-everywhere lap tables is that the rest on top of your legs and after a while you either get warm or you get circulatory irritations from the long usage. This is a very nice and quality built product. It does not however sit stable on a sofa cushion, unless perhaps it was very firm. It would do well though on a counter top, where you could set at shortest level. You can the drapenm your tablet with cover over top edge and inline at angle. Or, just angle the surface and set your ipad with cover on the rests provided. If you are going to study on ground or at park, this could carry along. ... show more

I use it to work on a big screen television using a wireless keyboard and mouse from a couch. The Logitech keyboard is 17 1/4 inches wide so the extra width is perfect for the mouse. The legs could be about an inch shorter for easier typing, but got around that by placing the legs between the cushions of the couch to drop them about an inch so arms don't have to be lifted. Sounds picky, but still lowering the keyboard just a little bit makes the typing just right. ... show more
