No color no chemicals in 30 years. SO organic. Divided my hair and started. 1st thing is that it's basically cool to the touch on the outside. So I was inpressed with that, because HOW MANY TIMES have I burned my self, on the ear, face, back of neck... Answer is allot of times. Long story short, Super easy to use, I Love the air flow, and the curls are really good. I didn't use it today as a flat iron, but as curling iron. Again Impressive. Easy to use, I didn't have the usual HAIR getting caught in the clip part and being pulled out of my head. NO burning of sking, and no smell of burning hair. This product is superior. Worth the try for sure, especially if you Love your hair. Because it doesn't hurt it like other hot tools I Have used and given to the 'resale shop' in a very short time. This ONE IS A KEEPER ... I have purchased a few different tools on Amazon to try to get that loose, wavy curl style that has been popular for several years and they were always so so hot I was afraid to burn my hair and my hands and I returned them. This little tool is so much fun to use, so effective, and has great options for heat. I have only used the lowest setting with the fan. I like that the fan helps keep the temperature from baking your hair and also helps set the curl. I've used it a few times and I am very happy with the results and the basic style lasts for a few days. I would add that I have NO skill at styling anything but a basic straight cut or bob with a curl under at the bottom so this has been a really positive experience. The price is very reasonable and I am so happy I tried one more product. I saw a woman style her hair with this exact product on Instagram and then found it on Amazon. I scored lower on drying power because it's not a dryer, it is a styling tool. I do spray a very small mist of water on before I use it and that helps to set the curl. I was skeptical because of the negative reviews about this tool. Yes, I do inadvertently change the temp or turn the fan off but it's not a big deal like everyone is making it out to be. It's super simple and quick to click through the temps to get back to the one you want. I am the most uncoordinated person when it comes to curling my hair and I could never get the hang of using a regular curling iron. This tool is amazing! It doesn't matter which way you curl your hair, away from your face or towards your face, it works great! This is a game changer for me! Oh, and there were other reviews complaining about the finish around the plates "bubbling" after only a few uses but this has not happened to me. This is the only tool that has ever kept curl in my hair! The curl lasted all day. My daughter came over in the evening and thought I had just done my hair but it had been HOURS. I used very little hair spray prior to curling it with a little after. I still had curl the next morning. It was incredible. I have fine, thinning hair. This makes my hair look amazing and super cute! Even my 8 year old granddaughter loves it. No "Karen" look! The only complaint I have: I have short hair, shorter than shoulder length, but even shorter in the back. The back is very easy to curl. The longer pieces in the front, even though they are shorter than my shoulders, are more difficult to curl with the tool. They don't slide through the tool as easily as the back. I'm hoping this will get easier as I get more proficient. I've only used this 3 times so it is new to me. That's why I'm still giving it 5 stars! ... show more

Update****Great customer service ***the company reached out to me to ask me if there was anything they can do rectify the situation and I was super appreciative of them doing that. I will not be repurchasing the product or asking for it to be replaced. I really liked how easy it was to get the hang of it even for a beginner. The positioning of the power and heat setting buttons get easily in the way while styling. It’s annoying that I would turn it off unless you held it with your hands on opposite ends. I found it uncomfortable at times. Ultimately i returned it. The unit takes some time to reach the selected heat setting and after using for a few times it stopped heating. This is the only product that I’ve bought that makes my hair keep its curl. I love the twisting cord which helps to keep things untangled and easier to use. ***UPDATE*** - After I wrote this review, I was contacted by L'ange. They asked me to send them a picture of the defects on the item and replaced it with a brand new one free of charge. I never expected that!! Incredible customer service and I'll give them my business anytime. Original review - I actuality liked it when I first got it. But 6 months in and the fan stopped working.
