This is a must have for Kreg jigs. Easy to use. Only criticism is that I wish the parts that contact your workpiece had a rubber cover or something to keep the metal from touching the wood. I think if you're not paying attention it could scratch or dent your project.

I bought this clamp after purchasing the Kreg Jr kit. I built an end table using the Kreg jr and quick clamps that I already had but found that those clamps required two hands to use and have accurate placement of the jig. this left me one hand short to hold any oversized boards in place as I clamped. after building that end table I purchased this clamp and boy is it night and day difference. the Kreg Jr snaps onto this clamp making it much easier to position and clamp, and keeps the jig from falling off the work board. additionally since this is an adjustable clamp, you can set it for the required thickness and then unlock and move to another spot on the board, or another equally thick board without having to start over again. pros- -much easier to use the kreg jr on similar sized boards than other clamps -jig wont fall off work surface because it is attached to the clamp -size is right for most projects cons- -costs slightly more than I would prefer -like most newer "vice grip" style camps, it does not include a release latch on the handle. some prefer this but I lament the loss of that little release latch. over all, I am happy with the purchase, I wish the cost was slightly lower but I found the clamp to be worth the money. if you have the Kreg Jr this is a must get accessory. ... show more

I bought this clamp with the Kreg pocket hole kit, and I used it to build cabinets. Using this clamp is much easier to hold to glue and screws for join, I have built few cabinet using this clamp with Kreg Pocket hole, I am so glad I did, if I don’t have this clamp I will have the most hard time to hold two board and screw same time is hard thing to do. The Kreg pocket hole jig as well as this clamp are a very nice combination, and really met my needs to build anything that need glue and screwing the joins. I make sure measure where I wanted to glue and screw using pocket jig with holding two board with this clamp, everything was in square and ready to be tightened down. You do not have to use this clamp to hold down for glue and or screwing two boards, but that will be much harder and wasting lots of your time and effort so if you use this I think it will sure enough makes it faster, and you don't have to worry about your work jumping around as you drive the screws. ... show more

This is the perfect clamp for the Kreg R3. I like that one of the swivel heads fits nicely in the R3's pad. When I realized that I would need a Kreg jig to make repairs to a futon that used hardwood and was joined together using a pair of dowels on one piece, and a pair of mortise & tenon joints on each of the two supporting rails, but the tenons were of the "loose" variety (i.e., not a part of the rail). I thought I could just re-glue the dowels & the tenons and clamp the whole thing together, but figured I needed additional strength and 4 Kreg joints were just the answer. This PREMIUM face clamp allowed me to set the R3 in position for all 4 Kreg joints. I knew this was a must have to make it all work together. I wish there were rubber boots that could be slid onto the swivel heads to make use of the clamps elsewhere, but with the R3 it works great. ... show more

I wish I would have bought the Kreg tools so long ago. If you are sitting on the fence, and you're like me where you just have some of the Kreg tools sitting in your shopping cart or wish list. Just do yourself a favour and purchase it already. You'll be kicking yourself for not doing it earlier. I'm a contractor down in Florida and we do a kitchen every 1.5 months. I bought a whole range of Kreg tools to help with the installs. I can now let a notice person whom normally I would only be comfortable with doing jobsite clean up do the occasional finish work now that I have these jigs and tools. I use these clamps for just about every part of the kitchen install now. Use them to clamp together the cabinets while they are being screwed together, use them to hold the hardware jigs on. I use them on various other aspects of miscellaneous jobs too. ... show more
