Garbage
Motor burnt up on the 3rd use. Warranty issues cannot be dealt with by email. Based on the email response I received from their customer service, you must call their support and hang on hold for the next available representative. This company is no longer the same Kitchenaid that made the venerable stand mixer your mother used for 40 years with no issues. This company makes cheap foreign made appliances made of mostly plastic and underspec'd motors. Don't let the price fool you. You are buying expensive junk.

Best of Food Processors!
What makes this food processor especially good is its cohesiveness, by that I mean everything is stored in the device. No separate bag to keep its chopping parts, and its lid is hinged, which means I don't have to place it on the counter or somewhere else to search for it later. I actually bought this item from Williams Sonoma online, which was considerably cheaper than anywhere else, including Amazon.

Don’t waste your money on this food processor
I liked this food processor when I got it but after making only six single pie crusts it stopped working. That’s a lot of money for a product that only worked for 2 weeks.

Good Blade Variety
What drew me to this food processor over others was the ability to do a fine shred. It helps me to shred my asiago cheese. That is really the only reason I was willing to pay for a food processor at this price point. Pros... 1. I love the variety of blades even though after all these months I've only used the fine and medium blades. 2. I like being able to store all of the blades in the bowl. I find having to take all of the blades out to use the food processor to only be a minor annoyance. 3. Compared to my former Black and Decker model, this takes up less counter space for me. I like that. Cons... There are a few cons that resulted in the 4 stars. 1. No replacement parts even 5 months after release. (Hubby put the part that pushes down the food in backwards on accident and did not realize until it was all the way down. We had to break a piece off to get it out.) 2. The food chute is on the small side. I cannot get even an average size cucumber down the chute without trimming the sides. 3. The food chute is not an oval causing the issue in #2 in my opinion. If it had been an oval, the example with the cucumber would have been a non-issue in my opinion. 4. Even when doing a simple shred of cheddar cheese, the motor sounds like it is working overtime. It makes me think that this will not last for the long haul, but we'll see.

Pretty Disappointed
Bought this on Dec 2nd for my wife for Christmas and she loved it. It is now March 9th and while she was shredding some cheese this morning it just quit, dead, finished. Guess I should have paid the extra for the insurance because the return deadline was January 31st.

No replacement parts available
Lid on my Kitchenaid food processor chipped on the cover's safety tab which must engage perfectly with the bowl to operate. I called Kitchensaid to order a replacement cover and was told they no longer make that part. I searched everywhere on line with no luck. Dont buy Kitchenaid if you need replacement parts after 10 years.

Not hardy enough
I will be sending this product back. The Shute is very narrow meaning I would have to really cut things small. From what I could find the watts are very low. I was excited to find this but it will not be good for what I need. But a great concept!

Well designed multiple functions.
Like the variety of blades. It is a lot of parts to keep on the counter when operating the processor and washing requires much space.
