I love that this rug is super lightweight and easy to wash. When you first unpack it, it feels really thin. But after a while, it kind of plumps up a little bit and creates a cushioning effect. Despite being very light weight, it’s pretty well-made. I personally bought this rug, when I had a guest coming over with two pets. I did not want to have to pay to wash my giant shag rug after they left. This rug came in perfect. It did get a mess on it and because it was so lightweight. I had no problem taking it out to the driveway and washing it off with a power nozzle and a bunch of soap. Then I hung it over the fence and it dried so quickly. This rug dries after you wash it so fast. I got the gray one and I’m really happy with it. I got a great price on it. I have no complaints about this purchase whatsoever. I do recommend it if you were looking for something to just complement the kids room or I guess area or high traffic area. It’s pretty soft and cozy actually. ... show more

Added this area rug to my daughter’s room update. It’s very soft. The fibers do feel slippery like silk. The pile is definitely not as thick and full as the ad shows. Certain directions you swipe it will expose the underlayment of the carpet. It does seem to vacuum nicely which leaves the fibers standing tall.
