Just perfect. Has a really nice large sweet spot
I needed a ready made paddle for intermediate level of play so I bought both the Killerspin Jet 800 and Stiga Pro Carbon. I tested them, my brother tested them, and even my professional table tennis coach tested them. Here is our take: Killerspin Jet 800: Pros: - Well constructed racket with high quality material. Durable. The moment you take it out of the box you notice its high standard. - Weight: Just perfect. Has a really nice large sweet spot. - The blade is large, larger than the Stiga Pro Carbon, which allows better defending especially when returning those smashes. - Good speed, not too bouncy. Good control. Cons: - More expensive, but still reasonable. - Short handle. I’m 6’3” and have large hands, but for my brother and coach handle length was fine. - Average spin. Stiga Pro Carbon: Pros: - Good price. - Very light. Handle is long, and comfortable to hold. - Speed: Very fast, very bouncy. Cons: - Average construction and material quality. Average durability. - Very low spin abilities. To summarize, the Killerspin Jet 800 is an excellent, high quality ready made paddle for beginners and intermediate level players. However, the handle can be short for players with big hands. The Stiga Pro Carbon is light, very fast but with almost no spin. I can’t believe how the company and reviewers on the internet give it a 99 spin rating; it was impossible for me to return those top spins while playing with it. It’s just bouncy with no control and no spin. But I like it’s blade, so I removed the rubbers and put on it something else. To conclude, I recommend the Killerspin Jet 800 for beginner and intermediate level players and do not recommend the Stiga Pro Carbon at all.

Beware of cracking sound
The bad: I ordered this a few weeks ago after getting a new table for Christmas and was incredibly excited for it to arrive. I'd hit maybe 3 balls when I started to notice a sharp cracking/splintering sound with every other hit or so. There's nothing wrong with the paddle that I could tell but it sounded and felt like the ball was cracked on every other hit (the balls were certainly not cracked), so I returned it for another one. Second paddle arrives and it seems to be ok but after playing for a few minutes I start to notice that the second paddle still has this cracking sound. It's not as bad this time, it only does it maybe one out of twenty hits, but the sound and feel put me off my game everytime it happens. I'll be exchanging this one as well. The good: The paddle plays incredibly well. I've not had a lot of experience with other paddles but this feels good in the hand, and other than the cracking sound/feel, I loved it. Great spin (the rubbers on this thing are incredibly tacky), and I could tell from my brief time with it I had much better control over my shots Hopefully third time's a charm, otherwise I'll be returning it for good. I'll be updating this review to either 1 star or 5 stars depending on how the third paddle does. I'm hoping to keep it and leave a 5-star rating, but if the third one has the same issue I'll be returning it for good and leaving a 1-star rating.

If I could give it zero stars I would
Simply put, this paddle did not hold up. Light use, even though I bought it 11 months ago for my son, he played maybe 30 games with it, and one time swinging at the ball the paddle broke at the handle just by hitting a little ping pong ball! Unacceptable for such an expensive paddle. Paddle is only warrantied for 30 days for defects in workmanship. Well no wonder. If they actually built a quality product they would stand behind it. I will never buy another Killerspin product again.

So this is my second Killerspin paddle, and I bought this one because I was so pleased with my 600N1 that I wanted to take that step upwards. It was a very different experience at first, and took me a while to get used to all this paddle had to offer, but I ended up really liking it. Unfortunately the handle snapped clean off it the other day when I was lightly tapping it against my leg between points. Which while I'll admit was probably not the best idea I certainly wasn't hitting it very hard at all, more of an absentminded thing. Looks to me like I somehow got one with e defect because the break is super clean right where the handle joined to the blade. I'll be honest here, for the price I'm a little disappointed in its resiliency, especially considering I had its cheaper cousin (and used it in much the same way) for well over three times longer. Now, i guess its time to get a new paddle.

AVOID. Great spin/bounce, but NOT DURABLE
I bought this paddle about three months ago, and since then I have really enjoyed playing with it (about once a week). It has a perfect combination of spin and bounce for me. That said, after just a minor bump against the table, the paddle broke. As much as I love it, spending $80 plus for a paddle that can’t handle a small bump is not worth it.

5 Killerspin paddles in 8 years NO breakage issues just wearing out the rubbers...
I worked my way up the Killerspin line (2 Jet 600, then 3 Jet 800s) to this paddle and loved it. I play every week full on for 4+ hours. Along the way I have also tried Stiga's best, Butterfly, and others. Now I have purchased this Killerspin 800 three times, and am sticking with it. Best combination of power, spin, and control for me. Absolutely no issues with the paddle part - all are in my closet and still like new. I buy a new paddle when the rubbers wear out. May switch to buying rubbers and applying myself.... Thanks, Killerspin!

Issue with quality but they made it up
I was completely satisfied with my first paddle. I recently bought a second paddle about 2 months ago. I played under 10 times and some pimple like bumps started to show up on the red rubber. I contacted KillerSpin and they got me a new replacement. This is a legit company who cares about their customers. The new paddle plays awesome. Hoping it will last like the first paddle.
