I purchased this stool because the one I had moved whenever my son would step on it. Let me tell you how much i loveee this little stool. It is smaller and very sturdy it has grip on it so when you step on it it you don’t slide around. The grip on the bottom is exactly what I was looking for. It’s light so my son can move it to the sink and wash his hands! It was probably the best purchase I have made for potty training so far! Oh yeah it also has a curve so it fits around the base of the toilet! I might just have more kids so I can potty train again and buy another stool. Jk but it really is a great product! ... show more

We got this for our toddler after potty training. We had used a mini-potty for the actual training but we’re looking for a way to transition to the regular toilet. She loves this stool! Previously, we had to help her onto the toilet and hold her there; now she climbs on and supports herself and tells us to go away. Success! She’s also a fan of transporting it to the sink to wash hands — and anywhere else she needs a step. Great purchase! UPDATE: We've had this little step stool for nearly two years of moderate use. I bought two of these for our upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. Our two year old son has been potty training for a while now. Splash guards on training potties never seem to work well for us (so...much...pee...) so we decided to try having him stand on a stool in front of the big potty. It's been great! This stool is sturdy, doesn't move, and very easy to wipe clean. The little rubber dots help him in place and do not hurt his feet. Worth every penny. ... show more

    • Sturdy but Short
This is really sturdy and I like that. It works well in a wet environment, like the bathroom, because of all the non slip spots in it. The only thing I was a little disappointed with is the height - it's a little short. My 3 year old, who is reasonably tall for her age, can't reach the faucet handles to wash her hands with this step stool which was kind of the whole purpose of purchasing it. I know it will eventually work for her, she just needs to grow an inch or two, but it doesn't work now and that's pretty disappointing. ... show more

A. This stool is *very* short, ~5 inches. Hard to tell that from amazon photo. B. It’s very slippery on a tile floor. We tried to use it despite its shortness, and my toddler wiped out in the bathroom. Now returning and searching for “non slip toddler bathroom stools” and checking height!

    • Great sturdy stool
So first let me say I dislike most plastic stools. Even if they are sturdy most don’t feel sturdy, and cave in a bit when stood on. I’m around 180# and I can stand on it with no real issues. It has some five in the middle but not so much it feels unsafe. My toddler loves it and uses it to pee in the potty or climb onto the toilet seat. He also uses it for just about anything I don’t want him to reach because it’s super easy for h to carry. He’s 3 and I think even an 18mo could carry it easily ... show more

    • Great for an extra boost
We needed a couple to put in a rental property where an elderly friend was going to be moving in. She is short and also has knee issues so a taller step stool was out of the question. These support her just fine and are a good height to give her a little boost in the kitchen and in the closet. IKEA used to make a step stool just like this, but has since stopped selling it (or is having supply chain issues). They're comparable to the IKEA version, except for the little plastic ring that goes in the finger holes. For some reason those are not part of the molded plastic, but are separate. I think they're there to make the edges of the holes smoother on your fingers and they can come loose or come off, but they aren't integral to the step stool working, so I haven't worried about it. ... show more

    • Good for potty training
Pros- the stool has a great non-slip grip on the bottom as well as the standing area and is light weight so baby can maneuver it herself. Cons- the steeping stool flexes when too much weight is put on the stepping area. Her older sister is 10 (not overweight) and I don’t feel Comfortable with her on it. I also wish there was a little more height but that is probably more on me for not reading the dimensions/description better. It does work for potty training but doesn’t allow enough height for her to wash her hands after so i need a second stool for that and our bathroom just doesn’t have the room for 2 stools. Overall for the price it’s not a bad option if only using it for potty training. I should have paid a little more to chose a better quality and taller stool ... show more
