4.0 out of 5 stars | Great book shelf for a kids room or play room that can accommodation tall books!
Our book situation has been getting out of control lately and I decided it was finally time to get a dedicated kids book shelf to keep in the playroom. My criteria for this book shelf: - Sturdy and well made - Easy to assemble - Hold lots of books INCLUDING tall ones (like our hard cover Pete the Cat collection) This one checked pretty much all the boxes and then some, which I expected for the price. This is a very well made and well designed shelf that looks really good when fully assembled with books on it. The materials are high quality unlike most bookshelves you can order for under $100 and it's super sturdy. My son and niece and nephew (6, 3 and 2) sat on the shelves while I was assembling it because individually they look like tiny little benches and they held their weight just fine. This thing can hold a LOT of books! I love the colors and the design and I like that you can start with just two shelves and add the third one on later if you want or arrange the colors in whatever order you want. My son has autism so we have a special place in our hearts for the colorful puzzle pieces, but they're cute for any child. Ours did come with several dings on some of the pieces and the box looked like it had been handle very roughly in transit, but customer service took care of us and it isn't a reflection on the product itself. I can definitely recommend this book shelf if you want something cute, well made and sturdy and that can hold lots of books in various sizes.

1.0 out of 5 stars | Not worth the money or time and effort
The colors are good. And that is all I can say about this product that I like. The packaging is typical Chinese packaging and shows the desire to waste more. But the real problem is the quality. The bolts do not align correctly. And on one shelf hand tightening the bolts led to a large crack in the wood. The biggest issue is the chemical smell. After putting it together we had to leave it outside for 24 hours before we could put it in our sons bedroom. I would not recommend this book shelf to others

5.0 out of 5 stars | Stacked two for a taller shelf
I ordered two and stacked them and attached it to the wall so it doesn't fall on my child. love it, great quality and brings color to his room. the only downside was the cost, but will probably be worth it as I imagine he won't outgrow this for a long time.

5.0 out of 5 stars | Great Purchase... Total Satisfaction
This product was delivered fairly quickly and is absolutely adorable in my toddler’s bedroom. It was pretty easy to put together, but would’ve been easier had the manual provided written instructions alongside the diagrams. It feels sturdy and has a high-quality look to it. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase... or at least I sure am not.

5.0 out of 5 stars | The perfect bookshelf for a child's bedroom
This is a great bookshelf for a kid's room. It was relatively easy to assemble, though you did have to follow directions and some grunt work is required to put this together. But since each shelf is a different color, that made it a little simpler, kind of like coloring by numbers. It has a pretty heavy feel of real wood and the colors are very vibrant and pretty. When assembled, it is pretty tall and wide too. I use it to put books and puzzles on. I would say it took about an hour for me to assemble, but I'm kind of a klod when it comes to following instructions on how to build something, hence why I will never purchase legos for myself. But the bookshelf is large enough that there was more than enough space for all of my sons' books to fit and all of his puzzles and other miscellaneous toys that somehow magically started appearing there little by little. I would most definitely recommend this bookshelf for a kid's room if you're looking for a bookshelf and you don't have a design in mind for the kid's room and just want something playful and childlike .

5.0 out of 5 stars | So cute!
I was on the fence about this purchase because I was worried my son might not be able to reach all of his books and I thought tipping might be a problem if he were reaching. I am so glad we decided on this- not only was it so easy for my husband to put together, but it is the perfect size for my 14 mo old son. He can easily reach all his toys and books with no worries about tipping because it is very solid/sturdy. Also I thought because of all the books we had this would not hold all of them but it holds way more books than it looks! We have a shelf and a half of extra space for our diaper caddy and some toys. There weren't any scratches or chips in the paint and the directions were simple. I was nervous about the smell other reviewers mentioned but it had only a slight smell when first opened because of the plastic packaging and this was gone as soon as we got it out. We've had it for several weeks and there is no smell at all.

5.0 out of 5 stars | Sturdy, Cute and Practical
Even with my limited skills, this was easy to assemble. The shelves hold way more than I expected and they are deep and well made. I was able to get all of our grandsons book collection into the bookcase and I still had room for a little tub of rhythm instruments. It really added something special to his playroom. This is a good buy. We are considering buying two more and anchoring them in a stack for the nursery for the next baby due to arrive soon.

5.0 out of 5 stars | EXCELLENT Bookcase
I just bought this for my 2 year old. I was concerned because of the smell that some reported on their reviews, however the smell is brief, i.e. it was gone before I finished putting the bookcase together and didn't linger. The bookcase is very solid (excellent quality) and very cute. The shelves are not high enough for books like "Look and Find", unless you use the top shelf of course. There is a lot of screwing during the assembly so, a power screwdriver might be helpful. I put it together alone, but it would be slightly easier with an additional set of hands. Also, I didn't notice anyone mentioning this in other reviews, but you can add on to this bookcase by buying an additional one and stacking to save space. If you decided to do this, remember you will need to find a way to harness the bookcase to the wall to avoid tipping. Just an idea.
