Great keyboard and case, unique and game changing design.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is a great tablet. Here are my top five reasons. 1. Mag connect makes the board run off of the tablet so no need to charge both the tablet and the keyboard. I have had others and both had to be charged separately. 2. Mag connect allows for easy separation from the keyboard for stand alone tablet use. This is super helpful for how I use my tablet. I do estimates for work on my tablet using a note app. So i can pul the tablet off and go with just the tablet. Take my measurements and pictures and then jump in the truck and reconnect and work from a keyboard for reports, emails and estimates. It’s exactly what I need for the way I work 3. Ports, ports, ports. We all know one of our big limitations with IPads is porting. This adds USB2, an audio jack (pull out those old headphones from the drawer), and USBC. 4. Great design features. The cut outs are clean. The wired connection from the case to the tablet are clean, subtle and tuck away just right. The camera notch is just right. The keyboard is rigid. I have had others that were flimsy and when you type the whole board flexes. The backlight is adjustable in color and in intensity. Lastly the thickness is just right for me. Overall its about as thick as carrying two IPads. Which for a keyboard case is what I would expect. 5. Protection. I have accidentally dropped my tablet twice while it was disconnected from the keyboard and on both occasions it did exactly what you hope. No cracks or damage.

Works Perfectly

Case works perfectly for my needs. Provides protection all around, keyboard with decent travel on the keys, and the ability to remove the top half of the case if I want to use just the iPad without the keyboard is a nice touch as well. You are able to change the backlight's color (I think 6-7 different colors). The iPad does not have to use Bluetooth to connect to keyboard so no need to worry about connecting it every time you turn it on. The addition of the power switch on the back ensures that the keyboard does not drain power while not in use! All around would recommend.

Excellent Keyboard - Turns iPad into Laptop

I bought the older version and when the new one came out with the updated power switch, I decided to give it a try. First things first, the typing experience is excellent. I would say it is better than the magic keyboard, which I also have. I like the fact that the keys are more clickey (if that’s even a word) and the feedback is really good. I also like that the autocorrect works it’s this keyboard, so there are no compatibility issues. I also really like the shortcut keys, which the magic keyboard doesn’t have. It really makes navigating the iPad a lot easier. There are keys for the most used functions. As for the USB ports, they work well and I haven’t had any issues using SSD or thumb drives - they synch well and I can read the files in them. I use one of them for a USB mouse, which I prefer to a bluetooth mouse, and it works perfectly. The HDMI port also works fine and I have had no problems with it. One of the things I like best is that the keyboard is detachable and the case itself is solid and protective. I do wish there was an option for some sort of cover, however. Drawbacks? I would have liked some sort of stand in the back so that you can have the iPad in the case mode stand up or be at an elevated angle for typing (you’re not always going to type with the keyboard). Also, the connector side is a little thick, which makes it awkward when you’re typing in portrait mode. On the flip side, it’s actually better for holding, so I guess it evens out somewhat. Overall, this keyboard is an excellent companion for anyone who has a iPad and I thoroughly recommend it for anyone who wants to add productivity to their device.

It's a good buy.

I'm satisfied with purchase. It's sturdy enough when detached and keyboard side has a pencil holder that keeps it secured when closed. I can use a mouse and the ability to use with an HDMI port, the backlight on keyboard, the shortcuts at the top row very usable. I don't know if it came with it for shipping purposes but there is a translucent rubber keyboard cover. Remember your ipad pro11 becomes almost a laptop (no touchpad) so there is the weight consideration. Still, it's a good buy.

Wow!

This is by far, the BEST case I have EVER had. The only thing buyers should be aware of, is that when charging the iPad, the case must be turned on. Otherwise it will not charge. But that is a tiny thing and in no way reduced my opinion or happiness at this case. Highly recommend this to anyone that wants to make life easier
