abunda_amazon_reviews I'm fairly certain I could live off of eating pizza. I use my GMG smoker weekly and when I saw they had this wood fired attachment for pizza, I jumped on board. I'm very familiar with pellet pizza ovens as prior to this, I also own to Uuni wood fired ovens. Those are great little stand alone units, but they have a few issues. Primarily, heat control on those stand alone ovens is very difficult to control and therefore, it limits the size of pizza and the amount of toppings you can have on them. This GMG unit solves that! Right off the bat, I'll say that it is a pain to have to take off your grill grates, heat spreader, drip shield and then install this unit. You must remove all of those items before installing this. It goes without saying that when you want to grill again, you have to do this in reverse. Trust me though, it's worth the extra effort versus just laying a stone on the grill grate surface. Once the unit is installed which is quite easy, fire it up like you normally would. I sent mine to 325 and then let it run for 15 minutes. This was to allow the stone to get to the full cooking temperature. Meanwhile, one beer later I had my pizza all set. I used fresh dough, a light sauce, cheese, sweet peppers, sausage, pepperoni and onion. Yep, that's a lot of fresh toppings for a wood fired pizza, but it was go big or go home time. PRO TIP: when you put the pizza on your peel, use plenty of corn meal or semolina flour. Lately, I have used semolina because it has a higher burn point that corn meal. Next pro tip, prior to going to the grill, lightly shake your pizza on the peel. The whole pizza should move back and forth sliding from side to side. If the pizza is stuck in place, stop right here and add more flour or corn meal. Repeat the process until you can shake it back and forth. Trust me, the first time I did this on my other oven I dumped half the toppings onto the stone and the pizza stayed in its place. Whoops! Time for the oven! Put the pizza in and enjoy your beverage for about one minute. Check the pizza after a minute and look for the crust to start turning color. If is a golden brown, use your peel to spin the pizza 180 degrees and let it sit again. Continue to spin and cook areas that are light in color facing the rear of the oven, which is the hottest area. At this temp, my pizza took about 4:45 to cook. I could have cranked it up and had it done in 80-90 seconds, but I prefer this slower cook as the crust cooks through perfectly and the cheese and toppings get a kiss of flame for the authentic wood fired pizza cook! For the cost, this is such a great buy. There is no way I could fabricate something like this for what I paid for it. Because I can control the heat on the grill, larger or much thicker pizza styles can be cooked at lower temps to avoid burning at 900+ degrees from other, non adjustable ovens. Remember to use plenty of corn meal or flour on the peel, rotate as needed and you'll be pumping out great tasking pizza in no time. I don't get anything for the time spent on these reviews other than satisfaction of knowing I helped someone make an informed decision. Thanks!;;June 26, 2018;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Affordable, easy to use, temperature adjustable at the grill, makes perfect pizzas!;;Minnesota Mike;;;I will have to say, this was awesome. I couldn't believe a pizza would cook in 2-5 minutes on this grill, but i was wrong.. This temp on the smoker was at 355-360, but the pizza stone registered around 700 my first attempt. And it came out awesome, and it timed at 3 1/2 minutes, but it was more of a square pizza. The second attempt I made the smoker at 395 and the stone was clocked at 760. This time the pizza cooked for 3 minutes 2 seconds, the dough cooked a little quicker than i thought, but damn... nothing like fresh pizza. I would say the 700 degree mark for those who love loading cheese on the pizza would work great. here are some pictured form the first time (square pizza) and the second time (more round pizza and looks very good) I hope this review helps... I love it , don't get me wrong I love making my ribs and roasts, but start with pizza, that way you will have something to eat while waiting for the ribs, roast and brisket to cook... Enjoy....;;May 16, 2017;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;this was awesome. I couldn't believe a pizza would cook in ...;;Michael Kahn;;;This is a well constructed and well thought out product. The user manual included is very funny to read and details everything you'll need to know and has some recipes. Now then, a few things to know ahead of time. Using the oven requires you to remove everything from inside the grill down to the firebox. Which is messy if your grill is used frequently to cook as mine is. Placing it inside is strait forward although the tabs for the lid can be finicky. The directions tell you to crack up the heat to 450...don't. Start lower around 250 and see how that works. I started at the recommended temperature and the instant the pizza was on the stone it started to burn. I couldn't remove it fast enough. You'll want to buy an IR thermometer and a quality pizza peel to use this product. Once I dialed the temp back cooking was great! full size 12-14 inch pizzas cooked in 4 mins and were delicious. Quick note about this seller. I received my order and when I unpacked the corner was cracked. I was really looking forward to using it that very day and now couldn't. I figured I would have to wait weeks while I returned the product and received a replacement. I sent them an email explaining what happened. This was a Saturday. Within hours I had a response from them. By Tuesday I had a new stone, no questions asked and was cooking that night. I've never had a better customer service experience!;;May 30, 2018;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Super product and amazing seller.;;HrdMetl
