Overall I like this purifier. It is really worthy of 5 stars with one exception relating to the app programming. The programming only allows you to program On or Off and not change speeds. My other Govee purifier (the square version) does allow you to change the speeds with the programming. This is a big deal for me because I want it on a higher speed during the day and then reduce to low or sleep speed at bed time because it's a bit loud near the bedroom. I have to make the speed changes manually each night and each morning. I would get the rectangular version just for this functionality. I don't get why they would have this functionality in one fan and not include it in the other. ... show more

The unit itself works great. Setup in the Govee app is pretty straight forward and simple. It seems to do a good job of filtering the air. We have two of these units in our home. One upstairs and one downstairs. Every time we have to change the filters they are always really gross and covered with dust and hair from the dogs. The unit itself will show a red light on it when it's time to replace the filter. The color ring will also turn red if it detects a lot of dust and stuff. My only complaint with these units are the filters. They've occasionally been out of stock, and each filter, as of now is $50. So if you have to replace them every 6 months, that's $100 in filters just for one machine. ... show more

had to write some yaml but it worked with home assistant. i have a set up that opens the windows, tuns on the whole house fan, turns off the A/C and turns off the the air purifier. this was the only one that had smart speed up slow down type function that would work with my use case was hoping for a washable prefilter on the outside. but hey potato potato. ... show more

Nice build quality, easy setup and quite fan. The only problem is the air quality indicator is a bit of dishonest marketing. It is nothing more then a filter replacement indicator. I got mold in my place and decided to test this unit out before cleaning it up again. So I put the air purifier on high for a couple of hours right next to it. Surprisingly the unit says the air quality is excellent. There is more to air quality then dust, pollen, and smoke. So when purchasing this unit know that, it does not indicate air quality.
