The hoop, the balls, and pump are great. Zero complaints there. The backboard/brackets are a problem, though. With my doorframes, it can only hang on one side of the door. This diminishes my hanging options. I got it for my front door/side door, but the door can't close because the backboard is too high on the bracket. If it allowed for lower hanging by even an inch, it would work anywhere in my house. I'm going to find different brackets and fix it myself, but gosh I wish this wasn't a problem at all. "Fits most doors" doesn't explain "will fit on the inside swing of most doors, but if you put it on the other side your door won't close." As is, the fit between the door and frame is tight. Annoying but not a deal breaker. The top slides into the room as the bracket hits the frame, tilting the backboard forward a bit. ... show more

Very noisy for inside, even with the cushions on the back. Had some scratches on it from shipping. My 10 year old son loves it. He moves it from his bedroom door to the front door of our apartment as he wishes to play with it. It’s great because our apartment complex doesn’t have a basketball court, so he is able to hang it on the outside of the front door and play in the hallway.     • Way too much flex in the backboard and became a bit of a project to stabilize it's short comings.

This had real potential. Just didn't turn out as well as I had thought. The balls have as much bounce as legal basketballs. This might be where some of the issuses are with this product. The clear backboard is nice however it's too thin and under the weight of the balls it ships with causes the backboard to be flimsy. The flex spring hoop is a nice touch but again the backboard is to thin causing way too much flex. You will likely need to add a washer to tighten up the spring as well. I ended up cutting the foam from the packaging glueing pieces behind it to sure much of the flex in the backboard and command stripping base of the backboard down to add stability. In short if the backboard had been twice as thick and was backed entirely in foam it would have made the rest of build of materials shine. ... show more

Note that the Pro vs the standard - only the backboard is a different size - the rims and balls are the same size regardless of which one you go with. The unit is a good value - 3 decent balls with a dunk style rim and nice back board. Air pump that comes with it is a clever design with the ball needle storing in part of the handle. The thickness of the backboard plastic is not strong enough for the pro size it bends/flexes around, it is loud from the vibrations as consequence as well as not having a sturdy fit on the door. The balls are nicer than some of the other ones but with the extra weight and size of the ball it was just a contributing factor to the noise of the backboard and the rim does not fit snuggly into the slot so that vibrates too, makin noise. Tried filling the space between the door hangers to help with that but it caused issues being able to close the door when doing so. Also the backboard is all scuffed/scratched up and a ball was missing. ... show more

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO BUY!!! Plastic frame is very very flimsy. My 3 year old toddler able to brake it in 2nd day and that supposed to be his birthday gift. Metal hoop is good and sturdy but wielded to the plastic frame which cracked by the shock of mini basketballs provided and not possible to use separately. Mini basketballs are very good quality but what's the point if you can't "basket" with a broken frame. ... show more

My kids love this. I love that it comes with three little balls. The backboard itself seems pretty flimsy so I’m not sure how well it will hold up over time but other than that it’s great. I feel like you could add some sort of reinforcement to the back of it to make it a bit more sturdy and prevent possible breaks.
