  • Excelente sonido
Me gustó mucho el sonido. Lo único es que el tudel es muy fino.

  • Great way to get started on the flute
If you're trying to get started on the flute, but don't want to invest several hundred dollars into a student model, or don't want the risks of buying a used flute, this is an excellent way to figure out if you'll be willing to stick with it. I ended up getting a used Yamaha 225S a few months ago, and that flute sounds MUCH better than the Glory, but it needed a handful of adjustments to be playable. The Glory also required two minor adjustments out of the box, but such adjustments are really easy to do, and there's plenty of content online to instruct a novice on how to perform them. First, the cons: The tone is fairly thin, and the lowest notes take a lot of effort to produce. The finish is of a poor quality, and has worn away completely on high-contact areas, such as the lip plate and on the body where the flute rests in my left hand. The key coordination feels a little sluggish, but it's adequate. And the pros: It's inexpensive as hell it's playable The modern embouchure design allows for fairly easy tone production I've had this flute for about 9 months now, so I feel like I can speak for its longevity a little. I play it at least an hour a day, every day, and haven't had any issues whatsoever. Its been knocked off of my chair a couple times, landing on a hardwood floor, but beyond a couple dings, it wasn't affected. I RARELY clean this thing. It tends to stay assembled on a stand next to my desk, so I can grab it and play it whenever I want, without having to put it together. The Yamaha, on the other hand, stays in its case unless I'm trying to record something. I had never even picked up a flute before ordering this. Got obsessed with Jethro Tull and needed to have one. If you want to try the flute, I strongly recommend getting your hands on one of these. I'm going to keep mine forever, and use it as a guinea pig for various flute repairs as I get better and acquire more flutes. If learning how to make repairs is something you'd be interested in, there's no reason to retire this flute indefinitely. ... show more

  • Cleaning rod and gloves missing
The flute was perfect, but it did not come with the cleaning rod nor the gloves.

  • Excellent flute at an excellent price!
I am a professional flutist and was looking for an inexpensive beginner flute to recommend to beginner students. I tried it out and it plays in tune, has a great tone, and looks beautiful. I was surprised by the quality of the flute for the price. This is not the cheap-o quality flute here. It comes with the cleaning kit which is exactly what every flute and flute student needs, the case is decent and it comes with a shoulder strap too. I purchased this flute from this seller for $69.99 in May 2015, the price has gone up a little bit since then. Considering it is a flute under $100 it is a fantastic deal. If you are looking at this flute - you'll see that it has an offset G and a C foot. This means that the Key named G for the left hand ring finger is a little distance away from the flute instead of inline with the rest of the keys. This is a BONUS feature, as the inline G is tough to reach especially for beginners. I have the offset on all my flutes both Intermediate, and Professional. This is a nice extra bonus for this student flute. The other feature of this flute is the C foot. There are only 2 options here, either a B foot or a C foot. C foot is standard on student flutes. It basically means that the lowest note this flute will play is low C, aka middle C on a piano. This is an appropriate choice when you consider the music that the beginner flutist will learn for the first 3-4 years of playing will not go any lower than this C. The B foot makes it possible to play the low B, one note below C, aka one note below middle C on the piano. The low B note is commonly found in more Advanced levels of music. I know other professional flutists that still have opted to keep the C foot, and not use the B foot. I don't know how long it will stand up to a beginner flutist's tendencies to be rough (dropping, banging it into a music stand), but honestly for the price it is far better than renting, and better than a school-rented instrument. If handled with clean hands, clean mouths so there is no sticky spit put into the flute, gets cleaned with the provided swab-cloth, and fingerprints rubbed off with the cleaning cloth each time the instrument is used it could last for many years before needing a tune-up at the repair shop. ... show more

  • Great beginner flute
The media could not be loaded. I'm 50 years old, and this is my 1st classical flute. I've played recorder and native flutes, and I thought that this would be too hard. I've had it, for almost 2 weeks, and I love it more than playing guitar (kinda). Thanks, Glory!

  • Great flute for price
The instrument itself seems great so far. Although, it didn’t come with anything that it was supposed to! Just the case and flute. None of the accessories…
