These new Front loaders.....and Top Loaders with impellers and crazy fast spinning tubs are all junk!!!! They don't clean like they should....they tear up or stretch out your clothes....very unreliable! -Look.....I had a fancy LG WAVEFORCE Toploader that gave me nothing but problems and broke in four years . -Look....I tried the new Whirlpool Cabrio Toploader and it did a terrible job cleaning the clothes...same issues as the LG....returned it after only four days of bad loads of laundry. We are a farming family so I wanted the choice of ENOUGH WATER to clean dirty work cloths if necessary. The biggest fill that was ever achieved on Any Setting using DEEP FILL was about 1/3 tub of water - that would not cover dirty coveralls or Carhart Heavy Winter Jackets. I was forced to add additional water by bucket -- then be available for rinsing to add buckets of water so the dirt & soap would rinse out. The agitator of this machine was so rough that it tore sleeves & pocket flaps off new shirts, twisted sheets into ropes & knots so that it was impossible for them to get clean & agitated the edges & hems from towels to shreds. This machine was definitely good for the garment & towel industry--needed replacements in about 1/4 the normal life of the garment. Family clothing became grey, stained & shredded. I complained to the GE Dealer who proceeded to send out repairmen to educate me on the proper setting for this machine (their Best Machine) while totally ignoring the poor design -- assuring me that all machines operate this way. Also, the Spin was SOOOOO fast & loud that we COULD NOT decipher a low flying helicopter from the sound of this machine spinning down our basement as it walked about over the concrete floor and rubbed the paint from the side of my dryer. I agree all of THIS GE Model washer work similar( my son's family had one identical to mine and It worked the same but additionally failed to spin the water out of his family,s laundry. I can not believe that I spent nearly $750 for a new modern machine that was worse to operate than the Wringer Washer that I helped my Mother carry & fill with 5 gallon buckets -- 50 years ago. My Sons Family and I finally gave up trying 'to adjust to new technology' -- and junked these machines after 1 year while still being covered by 4 year Extended Warranty-- GOT new Maytag Deep Fill Washers and are now Quietly suffering thru LOOOOONG Gentle Water-Covered wash cycles--our clothing is steadily getting BRIGHTER with each wash.
