I used this in two ways. One to take with me in a suitcase so I can use it at travel locations. and on my motorcycle to protect items, mainly groceries. Works great and it is a lot larger than you think. I holds a lot. I almost wish I had got something smaller. Has a Velcro access on top, very solid carry handle on top that can hold all the weight of ice and a full bag, along with a carry strap. I try to use both the strap and handle to distribute the strain. I would suspect the strap may fail first, but not going to test. It keeps a 5-7lb bag of ice cool for about 8-12 hours in heat over 80 (keep shaded and cover around it) or 24-36 hours in moderate temps 75 high and 45 lows. has a bottle opener and side pockets for utensils or other non cold items. Leaks very minimally along the seems if I keep water and ice in it for over 2 days. I usually keep a towel under it, on top and around if using that long. Mine was a return. It arrived with scuff marks even though it was sold as new. Nothing beats insulated stainless steel for keeping ice frozen. Period. I'm just keeping it for the bag, the technology is no better than an igloo or styrofoam ice chest.

The pictures don't show it but a nice surprise is the flap on top that will let you get a drink out without have to unzip the whole thing. The bottle opener was dangerously sharp. Had to throw that away. Bag has all kinds of pockets!

This item was received on June 3rd, and was used as a lunch box. The size was perfect, but already has a hole in it and it is only a few weeks later. Nothing was carried in it that should/would have caused this. I would not recommend for the price.
