Great bike and Good customer service. It will get up to 35-38 miles an hour on the highest pedal assist with minimal pedaling effort. It’s ideal for commuting in traffic where the speed limit is 35. You will be able to keep up with the flow of traffic. High quality construction and equipment. The only downside for me was that at about 180 miles my motor stopped working. But after contacting customer service and showing them the error code, they sent me a new on in the mail! It was easy to install the new motor core. It’s very comfortable and fun to ride around town. This bike is a beast. Assembly was straightforward, although I wish I'd had another person to help. The controls and electronics are user friendly, so I jumped right on and headed for a local hike-bike trail via a state highway. Acceleration was smooth and the pedal assist was wonderful. On the first ride I went through all five PAS levels and, since I had read how to deactivate the 20 mph governor, I cruised along like the wind at more than 30 mph. I rode ten miles within an hour of taking the bike out of the box and couldn't have been more pleased. When I got home the battery indicator still read "full," but I charged both batteries anyway. Since that first day I have ridden up and down a mountain several times and I am amazed at the power and speed this thing possesses. Highly recommend the Alaska Pro M-520. Not a hint of a problem yet; the bike has been pure joy. ... show more

These are solid well-built bikes and assembly was easy. These bikes are powerful, we live in very hilly terrain and was amazed these bikes had no problem carrying my 215 lbs up steep inclines. Like I said these bikes are solid a little on the heavy side at close to 100 lb. I'm 6 ft tall and my wife is 5'10 and we are both comfortable handling the height of these bikes. ... show more

    • WOW.......sturdy strong built bike as advertised!!
This was the first E-bike (Blue Alaska Pro) that I’ve purchased. I live in the mountains so I wanted to use it for when I go fishing and hunting for quietness. The package came two days earlier than expected, which was awesome. I've only put 50 miles on so far, and been using pedal assistant 1 (trying to lose weight, but need the help). The bike is pretty fast, and the first 50 miles it still had a full battery. It was a little heavy though which is mostly due to the dual batteries, and the mono shock would bottom out sometimes (DNM air shock on its way), but overall the ride is super nice and is well worth the price, and I get a lot of comments on the style/color of the bike!! The biggest reason I went with FREESKY was the support they give, Horlan was great at supporting me with any questions/concerns I had even before I had received my new E-bike, now that is service!! ... show more

The bike came in two shipments a few days apart but everything was in good shape. The assemble went well and following the instruction. Took my new bake out on 4 or 5 rides of longer and longer lengths including pedaling to see how it would do using it in a mixed mode and it was much easier than I expected. I love the bike and find every mode works well for me based on the situation. Long rides using power mode are my goto at this point and I even went down on the beach and on paths through the woods in the dirt. So roads, sand, beach, and dirt trails it worked well and had all the power I needed or wanted. I have not maxed out the speed yet but I am sure I will soon. At first I had a problem with a password, but we figured it out. I love the bike to the max! I'll try to add some video and pictures later ... show more
