From 2 to 1 stars update a couple months later. Both units are operating just as bad as before. The seller reached out and asked me to do some tests. First off, they failed the tests. Secondly, they are very lame tests. I was asked to light something on fire and hold it right behind the unit and watch the number rise. I sorry but if that's the only way to get the number to rise, this thing sucks. There's no way these scrub as much square footage as they claim. They are cheap. I bought two to test them against each other and other brands. The fan feels cheap, the body feels cheap, the filter feels cheap, the touch screen is very temperamental. They say you get what you pay for, these units are the cheapest you can get for the advertised square footage but even so I don't think they are worth it. The quality read-out is a joke. It is so full of features for the price. 1) Features include an easy change twist-lock air filter through the bottom of the Purifier 2) A UV light to sanitize all the air that passes through the Purifier 3) An Auto feature that will increase the airflow rate depending on the air quality 4) Air Quality indicator Green=Good Yellow=Moderate Red=Bad 5) Ultrafast turbine-style blower fan that moves a lot of air fast 6) A 6-speed fan. 5 actual Speeds and a night mode that is ULTRA-QUIET! 7) Extremely lightweight. 8) A sleek modern design. 8) A substantially long power cord This is an extremely well-designed Air purifier for its price that is full of features. Having the UV light in an air purifier of this price point is a major BONUS. The filter is nicely designed but I would have liked to see activated charcoal or carbon impregnated wrap on the filter to help remove unwanted smells in the air. I suppose the designers felt the UV light might help with that, but I really like carbon filters wrapped on the outside of the main filter. They catch the bigger pieces of debris and dust and make your actual filter last a tad longer. It has a built-in timer that will run it from 1 to 24 hours if you want to set it and leave. All in all this is a nice air purifier although it does get a bit loud over the #3 speed. ... show more

I really like this product, at the beginning was skeptical due to the price but having it tested for a couple of weeks I'm impressed with the quality and looks. We live next to a forest and my wife was having trouble with pollen, I would say this product help manage her allergies.

    • UPDATE- Customer Service did a complete 180 on this product.
The media could not be loaded. From the second I took it out the box, it had a horrible clicking/whirring noise for level 4 and 5. Check the video to see what I mean. I checked for obstructions multiple times and there were none, the fan is just defective. UPDATE 10/17 Customer Service reached out and replaced the item for free. Only time will tell how well this works, since our home does not have pets or smokers; however, we are subject to allergies and in time will know how well it works. It is very quiet in the auto postion when no odors are present. It will automatically increase fan speed when needed. It is actually very decorative and will look nice in a home and the column design makes it fit in smaller spaces. I am pleased with this Air Purifier. My Mother's home has been closed up for 3 years and when we walked into the house, if smelled like a musty forest. I ordered this purifier and fired it up. It has been running about a month now at different settings and I no longer smell that overwhelming stale smell! It is amazing the difference it has made. This is an update on my previous review. The customer service department is really great. They read my review and reached out to us and offered to replace the air purifier that was making a bit of noise and shaking. They told us they fixed the issues and as far as we can tell the issues are fixed. The new purifier is working really well. It does not make noise or shake. The company said they learn from all the reviews and try to fix the issues accordingly. We believe they will fix any issues and they gave us an extended warranty, very nice! We bought this because my husband and I both have allergies and the description and design was appealing. The look is nice kind of smoth and quiet. I purchased the Fiwotttda Air Purifier after extensive shopping, searching for a a quiet, efficient, economical, and effective air purifier. There were many candidates, but I think I chose correctly.
