This is a delayed birthday gift. For my lovely son. Blue is the color he likes. He really liked it. Because I was always worried that he would fall if he didn't balance well. But to my surprise, he learned quickly, and soon he had easily mastered balance and control. The cool lighting is appealing. The silent speed is also fast. The seat is easy to install and secure.     • Cheap and faulty
This product was a waste. It’s cheaply made and would malfunction every single time we would try to use it. I bought it for my son’s birthday and he has cried all day because all he wanted to do was ride his new hoverboard. I am so angry because he has waited for 2 weeks to ride it only to find out it was a piece of junk. AMAZON be care what quality of products you push because this one was an upmost disappointment. This company should be ashamed for selling this garbage. DO NOT BUY if you want a working hoverboard. Serious safety hazard as well.     • Takes a while to learn, but really fun once you do!
The media could not be loaded. The hover board was ready to go out of the box, no assembly required. It did need charged. We charged it for about an hour before using. It charges fairly fast. Once fully charged, I would say it runs for 1-2 hrs depending on what you're doing with it and if it's in go kart mode. The go kart frame took about 30 minutes to put together but was fairly simple. The go kart frame has Velcro straps that safely secure the hover board. You do have to be 55 pounds to use it in go kart mode. We anticipated only our son using it but my husband has a bit too much fun on it too. Husband is 175lbs and the hoverboard carries him just fine. ... show more

    • Broke and support is bad.
So, my son went crazy over this as a gift. He loved it for two days until it broke. We knew this happens a lot with hoover board so we made sure to buy the extra protection. So we were told the extra protection doesn't kick in right away and to contact the company. We did and after a very long time and several videos as proof it's broken later they send us replacement parts. OK fine we can try to do it. Unfortunately, they sent no instructions on how to do the replacement or a link to a video to follow. It's not as easy as it looks. So basically it's been a big paperweight and my son asks twice a week if he is ever getting to use it again. At this point I'm not sure. When it did work, he had fun but it beeped the whole time he rode it. So it was rather annoying. ... show more

I ordered this for my 6-year-old boy's birthday and it was a great purchase! First, this hoverboard is well made and sturdy. When we first unboxed it, we were able to set it up quickly and it charged very fast. My boy especially liked that we were able to convert the hoverboard from a traditional standing stance over to a sitting board and he said it's just like a go kart. It was really important to have something we felt like he could be rough with and I think he may have met his match. The rubber on the wheels seems high quality and there was clearly a lot of detail put into the engineering to ensure a quality product. Shipping was on time and the packaging was desecrate enough that it didn't spoil the surprise. All in all we are very satisfied with the purchase and felt like we got great value when comparing to other similar products. ... show more

I'll be quite honest, there are a number of limitations that come with using a hoverboard as part of a go-kart style configuration. For one, handling is going to be a bit wonky. If you have any experience with hoverboards, this shouldn't come as a surprise. So there will be a slight learning curve to this as you get familiar with moving around naturally--and not spinning in circles or bouncing between forward or reverse as you are trying to find a way to stop. If you have experience with these boards, then the process will be much easier. Then you have speed. You aren't going to go racing with this as it isn't going to go flying down the road. It goes the average speed of a hoverboard (clearly). Instead, it is meant to be an affordable solution for kids mostly, that is going to allow them to have a LOT of fun. Adults too, but with limitations as it will be easier to bottom out the front end with that kind of weight and limited mobility due to the size of body crammed into the space offered. It should provide hours of fun for kids though, as long as you make sure they take the time to learn how to control it properly without dragging the front end all over the place and damaged the board. It is advised to use it on large sidewalks and other smooth surfaces for this reason, as asphalt will gobble the plastic up pretty quickly if you are sloppy with it (we have experienced it ourselves, which led to some funny laughs as everyone watched it happen). Again, our scoring of this is purely based on price vs fun factor than anything else. It is NOT going to be a super-fast crazy drifting device flying around corners. If you want that, you'll want to go the route of those Crazy Carts or something or a hobby-built gas-powered super cart. For this, it's simply an affordable solution to keep kids entertained. Which also functions as a dual device since it is a hoverboard before anything else. So you are getting a hoverboard + a sort of go-kart. The instructions are about as useless as fishing without a hook or bait. Don't take them serious and use them as a brief idea of where to start as you'll be filling in the blanks yourself. There's nothing that shows the washers in the contents or the diagrams but you can figure it out on your own. They show the handles attached to the brackets with the straps but not exactly how the brackets with the straps attach to the base. It also doesn't show the two bolts that accomplish this in the content list where the diagrams because it thinks that those two brackets with straps come already assembled to the frame which is not the case. So clearly the instructions were printed before they decided to re-approach how it was pre-assembled or packaged to save space in the box. The welding job on the brackets with the straps is questionable but it doesn't get in the way of anything. It just looks like things weren't properly lined up. It doesn't change the operation of the kit nor does it look like anything is going to come apart. Just an OCD observation. Again, this is an affordable approach to a go-kart solution that is also a hoverboard. A two in one for the general entertainment of young ones. For us, it was a bunch of adults trying to get the most out of it, leading to some pretty funny moments and failures for those that didn't have any experience with hoverboards before and lack the ability to listen to the person next to them saying "whatever you do, just don't.....nevermind...you just did it" (scrape scrape scrape). There is a lot of fun to be had with this kit. Just make sure you fully coordinate yourself with how a hoverboard operates and maneuvers. **If you have found our review helpful, please vote it as helpful below so we know.
