abunda_amazon_reviews This generator is very well built with a rugged design. I live in Florida and it's never to early to get ready for hurricane season. My main reason for buying this is due to the dual fuel capability. During the days after a hurricane gasoline might not be available but I can always run this off of the propane tank from my grill. I rate it 5 stars!;;Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2019;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Excellent quality and great price;;Amazon Customer;;;Nice generator. It is easy to start and even easier to convert to propane. the only problem that I had was, you need to start off with gas, ler it warm up then switch to propane. No big deal. It is a little bit heavy if you need to move it up and down the stairs like I have too. The wheels are strong, but I need to put bigger ones for my stairs.;;Reviewed in the United States on November 22, 2019;;4.0 out of 5 stars;;Nice generator;;Frank R.;;;Okay, once I called in THREE friends to help me make heads or tails of this thing I got it running. Here is what you need to know if you buy this generator and, like me, you don't spend a great deal of time working mechanical objects. The first thing you need to know is that when you put the feet and the wheels on the generator, you are going to encounter a kind of nut with what I believe is vinyl lining in the threading. Some people tell me that this is very common, and others tell me that there is a reason why I was not familiar with this, but the purpose of this is to be able to form a tight seal. Basically the threads of the bolt dig into that rubbery stuff so that the bolts and nuts aren't shaking right off the generator when it starts. You will need to use a monkey wrench or similar device to get these nuts on there. This alone exhausted the first of my three friends. The second thing you need to know is that, although there is a tag on the oil input that says you have to replace the shipping oil plug with a functioning oil plug, this appears to be false. I called every hardware store, every small motor shop, and every automotive store in town and nobody had any idea where I would even get a plug like this. I asked the seller what to do about this, and apparently no one at the selling company speaks enough English to provide a coherent answer. What I could make out was that they were telling me, contrary to the tag on the oil fill, that the plug provided was in fact the one to be used. I used up another friend's ability to cope trying to figure this out. The third thing you need to know is that the quick start guide is in fact no such thing. That's because it is written terribly. If you buy this generator, look back at this review when you open up the quick start guide. In the instructions for starting it up, item D-4-a is for running the generator off gas, and item D-4-b is for running it off propane. The problem there is that D-4-a tells you to turn the gas fuel switch to ON, whereas D-4-a says NOTHING about that, and basically the whole sentence structure is botched. I used to be a technical writer myself so I'm rather appalled with this, quite frankly. ***Item D-4-b in the quick start guide should read: "if using PROPANE, connect propane tank, turn propane tank valve to ON, and turn generator's Gas Fuel Switch to ON."*** I chose the third friend whom I involved in this project carefully, and so he was still up for figuring out the fourth problem. The fourth thing you need to know is that this generator has a pull start like a lawnmower, and you really have to yank on that cable to get it to go. You're also going to have to hold down the generator at the same time so you don't pull it up with the cable. I'm fortunate enough to be tall so I was able to hold it down with one hand and pull the cable with the other. If you're not that lucky you might have to hold down the generator with one foot. But here's the thing, you REALLY have to yank on that cord. By this time I was so frustrated I just pretended the handle of that cable was the collar of whoever did the documentation for this device and I was preparing to, as the young folks say, "yeet him/her/them" into the sun. (If you are not familiar, to yeet something is to throw or launch it out of one's way as it is thoroughly undesirable.) Geez. Good luck.;;Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2020;;3.0 out of 5 stars;;The instructions are HORRIBLE and there is basically no customer service.;;L.I.;;;The generator is relatively quiet. It starts easy and produces the proper electric to run what I need. I'm 60 and I find it hard to move around. I cut the box off around it to get it out. The stop switch did not work and I called Amazon to return it. They wanted me to take it somewhere, there was no way I could do that. I decided to repair it instead of sending back to Amazon or the factory to be repaired. The clip holding the wire to the stop button was broken and would not stay on.
