Overall, I’m definitely happy with this projector. My main gripe is that it’s LOUD, even on the more economical settings. Image quality is great, and brightness is sufficient. I have it set up in a windowless media room in the basement, projecting on a 120” screen from about 12ft away, and the image quality is pretty impressive. For the price, I do think there are other options that probably would offer slightly more bang for the buck, but would recommend this for those looking for a quality projector on a budget. ... show more

Great projector. Stay away from the cheaper models. I’ve tried a few and none lived up to watch the preached. This is great we use it for outdoor movies. Picture is clear and onboard audio is ok. Purchasing a speaker to help boost that. I use my iPhone which plugs in to the projector and plays what ever I want. I haven't played around with other settings but this does not do Bluetooth or wireless streaming which I thought was ok as all the other's claimed they did but didn’t. Would suggest for anyone looking for a side projector to do small moves gear and there. ... show more

I tried several projectors that were below $500 and was not impressed. When I finally broke down and paid for the refurbished version $500 it was the best decision. Picture quality is excellent for the price. Plenty of brightness during the day. Sounds definitely recommend.

    • Absolutely horrible dark scene presentation.
This projector truly isn’t worth the money that they’re selling it for. This is maybe a 300 hundred dollar projector. The picture is somewhat acceptable in lighter scenes in a movie or tv show. The darker scenes that require contrast are horrible!! Colors are mediocre at best. Build quality is well constructed that’s the only five star that I can give it. There is a constant white haze over the entire picture. If you are willing to spend this much money please look for a different projector. Don’t waste it on this. There’s a reason there are so many Epson 880s refurbished. ... show more

Epson makes a great projector, but in addition to that the refurbished one that I got works well, and can't tell that it was refurbished. Nice for rear or front projection and outdoor use.
