Features

  • POWERFUL & DURABLE - The wood chipper shredder is equipped with a 15Amp pure copper motor, durable and high-hardness seven-tooth blade, which is more sturdy and durable than ordinary blades. The blade speed is up to 60rpm, can cut branches and wood quickly and easily, improving work efficiency.
  • HIGH EFFICIENCY - 1.73 inches maximum cutting diameter and high torque of 460Nm for better cutting, ENGiNDOT branch mulcher is enough to meet the cutting requirements of most branches in your yard. 60L large-capacity collection bag of the electric chipper reduces the frequency of emptying the bag, which makes work more efficient. Note: This wood mulcher is more suitable for cutting branches rather than fresh leaves and vines, as many green leaves and vines will cause clogging.
  • LOW NOISE - The metal planetary gearbox and quiet motor have an effect on shock absorption, the noise is less than 94db in operation. Compared with other machines, the noise of this chipper shredder is at a first-class level. it will not disturb your familys entertainment and rest when used in the yard.
  • ANTI-CLOGGING SYSTEM - The anti-clogging and reversible blade design of the compost shredder can reduce clogging problems. And plunger paddle can help the branches pass through the hopper slot. Note: When using for the first time, tighten the blade adjustment knob and turn it back half a turn to avoid damage to the blade.
  • SAFETY & COMPACT - The storage slot of the electric shredder can be used for storing gloves and other tools. The button is covered with insulating plastic to ensure safety. The lightweight body is equipped with convenient wheels to make it easier to transport the wood chipper.

  • Good product with limitations
I first bought the Sun Joe version of this - refurbished - which was a disaster. The box was damaged, pieces were missing, and it stopped working after 8 hours of use. So I went with the Engindot model, and it a lot better. But it has limitation. At most, I could only get a 1-1/2 inch thick branch to be inserted into the opening. And they have to be pretty straight. And not too short. They have to be 8 or more inches long to catch the grinder. Otherwise, they fall horizontally on the wheel and just sit there. On thinner stuff, it does a good job. But the exit can get clogged easily even if you use branches with leaves. There is definitely a learning curve for how to use it. You need to pick the right branches and put them in correctly. The machine never seized when i put branches in that fit in the opening. One thing to be aware of is that the opening has no flap to prevent debris from flying out, like the Sun Joe does. In short, I think this does a good job with the right branches. Compared to the Sun Joe, this model has a better build and also has a reverse button when it gets clogged - which works most of the time. ... show more

  • Great Chipper
I cut down the very large evergreen bushes in my yard. I didn't want to burn it, and rather mulch them. I had access to a Chicago Electric shredder/mulcher. Wasn't impressed. The 14 Amp device seemed limited to 1/2 inch or so without binding up. Picked this device based on the reviews and capacity. For freshly cut wood, this thing will chip, not shred. They advertise it is "silent". While not actually "silent" it was much quieter than the Chicago Electric one. Ear plugs aren't an absolute necessity, but it wouldn't hurt. The device worked very well. I've found that with the fresher wood, keeping it down to 1-inch diameter keeps things moving. Feed the branches in, then it generally takes care of the rest. The chute can clog, so keep an eye on that. One minor issue is on the first day of use, the housing cracked... a lot. It was delivered by Fedex and Fedex is getting a pretty bad reputation for delivering things well. I'll get the cracked housing resolved with the company, presumably. But otherwise, for less than $200, I'll be able to break the bushes down a lot, intermix with mulch which provides a very green solution to the very ungreen decision to chop them down in the first place (they were too overgrown). ... show more

  • Okay
This chipper is okay and for the price does what it's intended to do. I wish however that we had purchased a much bigger model. This chipper is small and not intended for bigger jobs. We use chip drop a lot to get wood chips for our backyard chicken run. The last load we got was full of branches. We decided to get a chipper and break them down further before spreading them in the run. This chipper only worked on the smallest of branches. Worse, was how quickly the little bag underneath would fill up. We tried to set it up over a wheel barrel to help with this but it didn't work out well. All in all it does what it's supposed to do, works for the price but next time I would go with a heavier model. ... show more

  • Great little chipper
I bought this to replace a SunJoe that died after a few years. This is really a chipper, not a shredder. I sometimes put chunks back through if they're more than an inch long. That being said, it's a good little machine & can process a pile of branches in no time. Doesn't get snarled up as easy as the other, hardly ever have to use the provided tool, but do keep the exit chute from clogging if you have fresh leaves or pine needles (never reach up inside with your hand, or when it's operating!) I've used it now half a dozen times for at least an hour per use, runs like a champ. (Do wear gloves using any chipper, as it can grab a limb and pull it in, don't want your hands to get skinned if that happens.) Happy with the purchase. ... show more

  • NO SPARE PARTS AVAILABLE
Just arrived yesterday, assembled it today, haven't used it yet. Reading the instruction pamphlet, it says a "counterplate" will need periodic replacing. The counterplate is the piece that the chipper rotor's teeth fly past, that the sticks or whatever are pushed against. The teeth hit the stick, chipping off pieces that fly past the counterplate and some material gets pushed through the tiny gap between the rotor teeth and the counterplate, wearing it out. The counterplate is made of aluminum. It's soft metal and will wear rapidly, so there's a knob on the unit that you turn to adjust the counterplate closer to the rotor so nothing jams in that gap, or to correct things if it is jamming. NOW HERE'S THE PROBLEM: The company selling these chippers on Amazon DOES NOT SELL COUNTERPLATES SEPARATELY, because they're not the maker, they're a product aggregator. Chinese and other Eastern companies list their products with them, they promote and market the products, and they don't deal with spare parts. I am UNABLE to find ANYONE on the Internet that sells replacement counterplates, so when yours is worn out, you're done. Keep this in mind before ordering this chipper like I did because you won't find this information before ordering unless you read this review. ... show more
