abunda_amazon_reviews So I bought this hoping some issues from the original tinyhawk would be resolved. The original had a horrible vtx and a sub par camera. The included ph2.0 power plug was also rolled pins instead of solid. They did not change any of these. The motor kv is pretty high for 2s, they should have used lower kv motors and ditched the 1s support. There is already a 1s version why sacrafice 2s performance? The vtx is complete garbage. It gets heavy static when flying 2 rooms over. I know it's the vtx because I put a hglrc nano in my original tinyhawk and had zero issues. The vtx was the biggest issue and emax completely ignored it. The camera is just ok, but the mount is the same and you have to hot glue it to the frame, and it's a big pain to change the angle. Same exact camera and I will be changing it. The ph2.0 power connector is garbage and when using the 2s battery that's included, the voltage sags immediately down to 3.3v/cell. I get a low power warning on takeoff. I have some solid connectors luckily and they help with the sag and flight time. I just don't know how they could overlook this especially when the average joe on rcgroups knows about this. The washout is bad and I am hoping reversing the props will help. Not sure why they have front props facing in when it's common knowledge that facing out helps with washout. They advertise this as d16 compatible, but the instructions say to bind in d8 mode only. You have to change the receiver in betaflight config to FRSKY_X to get d16 binding. If you have telemetry on you get random dropouts. So far telem off seems to work but at least a mention of this would be nice when they advertise it as d16. Once I change the vtx, camera, prop direction, power cable, and tune, then I might be happy. It's just a shame I have to go through all of this again with what would otherwise be an incredible flyer. Emax, I am officially done buying any future products from you.
