I am a fishing guide on Lake Buchanan have been a Guide for 20 years and have used lowarance since I started my Guide Service but the elite to-2 is no where near the other fish finders lowarance has had in the past

I have had this unit since February it is not user friendly the Navonics software is impossible to understand and operate you need to be computer science major to understand it and to even get it to Kind of work have not been able to download and view my saved data on to my computer like they claim you can. This has been 1200.00 lesson on what not to buy.Until Lowrance and Navonics get their **** together and make this software USER FRIENDLY I would look for a different brand . Maybe this is why Garmin bought out Navonics because in this person view they *&^% ! ... show more

I have had this unit for about 2 month and the only thing I could get to work was the the sonar and the chart plotter. I have made about 8 frustrating calls to Lowrance customer service and wasted about 12 hours on those calls. Lowrance customer service is out of Manila and their service techs do not seem to know what a fish finder is. You have to walk them thrue the call. Before you buy a Lowrance call customer service and see who you get. ... show more

Purchased 2 units for my Nitro Z18. No instructions on registering, uploading latest software and or C-MAP. An IT manager could not connect, register or download into either unit after installing the Lowrance and C-MAP apps on my phone. After $2000 and hours of installation these units should have the latest software and C-MAP installed. ... show more
