The media could not be loaded. Writing this review on my husband's account. This fireplace is gorgeous and functional. I love all the color settings and that it came with both the stones and faux wood for the insert options. The heater works better than expected and has ran us out of our open concept livingroom in the past. The remote is nice but it also has touchscreen buttons that go dark on the front which is nice because they blend in and go unnoticed until needed. Lots of settings and was pretty easy and quick to assemble. My teenage daughter actually did it for me while I worked. It's also well made and very sturdy. Overall after several months of use I'm very satisfied with this purchase. Sister in law is even considering purchasing one now I've talked mine up so much.

Great fireplace! Was pleasantly surprised with the quality at this price point. Lights and logs are pretty, many color options. Like the ability to change from logs to glass rocks. Puts out good heat. Easy to put together. Super pleased with this purchase and highly recommend. The only thing that would make it perfect is fire crackling sounds. I just put an Echo Dot on the mantel and ask Alexa to play campfire sounds ;) as a solution.

The media could not be loaded. Update: The company sent me a new remote. The piece works well, and for the price, it is beautiful. I would give it a 4.5 star. After figuring out how to get around the issue of not being square, Those who see it comment on how nice it looks. I am glad I didn't have to insert it and go through the hassle of building around it. My only complaint is that I wish to keep the heater on and turn off the light when sleeping since this is in my bedroom. I am leaving the text of my previous review intact. -------------------- I bought a 40-inch with a mantle, and let me tell you that the mantle could be a better fit for the heater. Here are a few installation tips: Don't attach the top until you fit the heater in and put the glass over it; you may have to disassemble parts of the bottom frame to fit the glass. Many times during the assembly, I wanted to return this product, but boxing both parts deterred me. The flame is unrealistic but not ugly, and my 12-week-old kitten likes it. The price seemed good, and I thought it would be a decent heater for my bedroom. I ordered the mantle because I didn't want to hire someone to install it, and I am not personally young enough, physically strong enough, or handy-sufficient to cut the wall, build a frame, fix the sheetrock, etc. Another big issue with the design is that the flame light will not turn off independently from the heater. If the heater is on, so is the fake flame, and for a bedroom, that is not a logical design. Finally, the remote I received only works sometimes, and dimming or increasing the light is impossible. I have contacted the seller and will let you know if they try to resolve the issue.

Cute. Super easy to put together. Similar to Ikea cabinets to put together, but better instructions. Be aware, there is a really nice orange/red coals color - which you can only get while it's cycling through all the bright, sassy, unnatural colors. It's fun. Nice focal point for my living room. The remote stopped working in a few hours, so that was disappointing. Size is exactly as advertised. Nice to have the heat coming straight out from above the fire.

The fireplace is beautiful and puts out a nice amount of heat! I like being able to change the colors although green is my favorite I love that it has a remote. My daughter in law put it together for me and it took around 2 hours. Great value for the price!

Best of all the company refunded me a partial payment because the product lowered in price a couple days after I ordered it so they matched the lower price, no hassle. I would absolutely recommend.

UPDATE...read addendum First, let me start by saying that I absolutely LOVE this fireplace. I was so excited to receive it that I almost leapt into the FedEx guys arms during these times of social distancing and I was social distancing before it was required, so that’s saying something. I skipped into the house with excitement, threw caution to the wind and quickly shredded the box with my box cutter. Doh! Big mistake. I didn’t consider that I might need to return it. Here’s where things get dicey. My husband began removing the items from the box and the only contents inside were the decorative rocks, the fireplace itself and two black brackets that we assume are for mounting. No instructions. No remote control. No screws, or other hardware. I had to do a deep dive on the Internet to find out what exactly was supposed to be included in the box. If we could’ve found an instructional video we probably would’ve just purchased the additional items ourselves, but we couldn’t find one and we don’t even have the remote control. I leave you with a joke. Customer at a restaurant orders soup. The waiter places the bowl on the table and walks away. The customer calls the waiter back and tells him to taste the soup. The waiter says is it too cold? The customer replies, just taste the soup. The waiter says is it too hot? Customer says WILL YOU JUST TASTE THE SOUP! The waiter says fine I’ll taste the soup. Where’s the spoon? Customer: “AHA”. That’s how I felt opening this box. I wanted to love it and hang it but I didn’t have anything needed to do so. It is a really nice fireplace. I plugged it in and used the power button on the unit to turn it on. It looks amazing. Hopefully, one day, it’ll be on my wall and not sitting on my living room floor, like it was intended to be. I gave this a three simply because of the missing items of necessity. The unit itself seems great. I will update to let everyone know how it turned out. Enjoy your fireplaces. The customer service is phenomenal. I didn’t receive the hardware, or the instructions for this fireplace, but Fiona, the customer service rep I spoke with went above and beyond to assist me and she answered my emails in a timely manner. She immediately shipped out the parts that I needed and was so courteous. Thank you, Fiona! I love this fireplace.
