This plane can take a beating! I clipped a tree and the plane dropped 40 feet onto grass with virtually no damage. Amazing. The plane flies great. Unlimited power and aileron/elevator authority. Rudder authority could use some improvement straight out of the box. After trashing a few wooden props, I got a bunch of Master Airscrew "electric only" nylon props which are much more durable. I also replaced the e-flite ESC with a 60 amp Avian ESC, which gives me telemetry and reverse thrust. This plane lands hot unless you drop from high alpha (thud), so reverse thrust helps a ton if you're flying in a small field. Easily one of my favorite planes from E-flite. ... show more

    • Superb! I love it.
This is my new favorite. I would not recommend for beginners any 3D plane, beginners of 3D yes, but not completely new to flying RC. But that being said, its super stable, fast, and extremely responsive to inputs, so start with very low rates, and work your way up slowly. You do want large 4S batteries like 4500mah inside for longer flight and reasonable CG. Wings were pain to attach. But after 30 minutes of cursing I got them in... 😂 landing gear is weak, and bends easily, remove it from body to bend it back to shape. Overall I love it! I put larger wheels on it so I can fly from grass that is normally to high. It has awesome presence in the air and very easy to see with the color choice they made. ... show more

Having bought a second model from a RC shop I can say what a great model. Just unfortunate I had to return this one as the packaging and model were damaged.

I have wanted this Extra 300 for while but it does not come with a Avian ESC, no thrust reverse, or a Telemetry receiver, no battery voltage at the transmitter. But when I saw the price it was $20.00 cheeper then Horizon Hobby I went ahead a bought it. It was a returned item and it did not come in the outer shipping box so the main box was damaged and the ends were not taped closed I thought for sure parts would be missing. I have the plane assembled as nothing was missing. The plane is in great shape. ... show more

Best plane I’ve ever Owned. Extremely stable and easy to fly at Low speeds and landings are cinch. Then increase the throttle in the thing turns into an unstoppable race machine with unbelievable vertical climb ability. With the server throws turned maxed out you can barrel roll faster than you’ve ever seen. Definitely the easiest 3-D plane I’ve ever flown and most fun by far. Extremely durable and easy to repair.
