abunda_amazon_reviews This product works as billed. Stainless steel grates are into their third season and still look brand new. No signs of rust, but I do keep it covered most of the time. The only issue is that there are times when it will not reach the desired temp (220-240 degrees) when it is cold outside. I do have some suggestions for you: 1. In photo 1 see a simple addition I made to add liquid to the liquid holding tray while cooking. This is so you do not have to open the door to add liquid while cooking. It is just copper pipe with a couple of fittings and two holders with gaskets to keep it in place. 2. Photo 2. The door does leak air, at least mine did. Go to the local fireplace store and purchase about $20 worth of hi-temp gasket material. It looks like felt with self-sticking tape on the back. 3.Photo 3. Do not rely on the built-in thermometer. The best thermometer I have seen is: Maverick ET-733 Long Range Wireless Dual Probe BBQ Smoker. Again, so you don't have to open the door during smoking I drilled two small holes to feed the thermometer wires through. These types of smokers lose their heat quickly each time you open the door, so try to avoid doing so. Also, keep a spare (full) propane tank nearby in case yours runs dry during the cooking process. You don't want to have to run to the store in the middle of cooking you meal. Everyone raves about the meat and veggies I have cooked in the smoker, so clearly this product does its job.;;Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2016;;4.0 out of 5 stars;;Works great for occasional user!;;Douglas W Kenny;;;I bought this a few years ago and have been a regular user of this. I even bought one for a family member. Weighing all things equally this is a great product for the money. I have research other smokers over the years to see if there is a better replacement, but haven't found one yet for the money. Pros: --It's lightweight so you can move it from storage to cooking location. --The smoker box is much larger than other models, which is kind of the whole point. You can get large and small pieces in there for a longer smoke. --The water dish (temp regulator) is accessible and easy to maintain during the smoking process --Rack levels are easily moved to accommodate a variety of items. I never had problem fitting a bunch of food in there. --Very roomy inside. I can do 2 racks of ribs, 5 large chicken breasts and bacon, all in one smoke. I've never NOT had room. --Temp gauge is accurate easy read. Cons: --I broke one of the handles pretty easily. I shut my garage door on it, which may not be recommended but it broke a little too easily for me. I got a replacement easily but that kinda sucked --The smoke leaks out of the door to easily. This is offset by the huge smoker box, which kicks off a lot of smoke, but i would like to see tighter seals on the doors. --The lid on the smoker box. I've seen a few people comment on this and they are right. It's annoying that it just sits on the box without any real purpose. To be honest I'm not sure if it's needed, but I imagine it makes the wood burn slower. It's not a deal breaker but it is annoying. That's my feedback. This was my first smoker, and I have found it easy to use/learn with. The food turns out great, which is the whole point. The first time I used it, the handle for one of the smoke dampers fell right off in my hand. So why 5 stars? Two words: CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I remember specifically ordering this grill because I noticed that the company responded to nearly every negative review and even some of the positive ones. When a company stands behind their product that well, you have to give them a chance. I was not disappointed at all. When I called about the missing rack rail, I was simply asked for my name, address, and the part number. I had the part in less than a week's time. I didn't need the part the first time I used it so that was plenty fast enough. When the smoke damper handle basically came apart in my hands, I started to worry if I maybe had bought a dud. I even procrastinated a bit before calling because I didn't want the company to think I was just stockpiling spare parts over here. Anyway, not to worry at all. When I called a second time (I'm pretty sure the same guy answered) and told him the part broke in my hand, he literally cried "Oh noooo!" like he was at the BBQ when it happened. He asked for my zip code, pulled the rest of my info right off his computer and said they'd get that part right out to me. I was off the phone in less than 3 minutes! Notice I haven't even mentioned if the smoker works or not? It does, in fact it performs superbly. They did skimp on the smoker box by using steel instead of cast iron. It peels almost immediately and the heat quickly warped the lid and box so you can't really slide it out to add more wood. Instead you have to pull it out completely or risk one side falling off and dumping everything. I assume that's how they kept cost (and weight) down so I'll be looking for a cast iron alternative. At any rate, I've made two delicious briskets on it so far and I intend to really make use of the multiple racks this Labor Day. I can honestly say that even if it totally sucked, I would've given GHP Group 5 stars just for letting me know that Customer Satisfaction is in fact still a real thing to some businesses.;;Reviewed in the United States on August 26, 2014;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Missing Part / Broken Part;;Brother J;;;After two disastrous adventures with Smoke Hollow and AMAZON in getting their sorry product returned it was a please to open and assemble the Dyna-Glo Some thoughts for those of use who want a little more than we pay for.
