Great tech but awful fit and remote stick freeze up some time
We all know how good it looks and how well the tech works. What we don't know are the details that make it hard to use or that don't inspire confidence. - the remote stick sometimes get stuck, you have to force HARD - The power barrel is too short so it is not properly attached: if you move the cable a little it will pull out power off mid flight - The link indicator sometimes turns red then back to full connection at close range, like a bad router. - the goggles are heavy and their center of gravity is far from the face, which results in pressure and wobble when you move your head. - The face foam is the wrong shape for western faces, creating pressure on the forehead and the ridge of nose.

I have no problem with a goggles and controller it works great and I love it but what I do have a problem with is the fact that I paid nine hundred and some dollars and now you can get it for 799.00 I would like to be reimbursed the money difference other than that they're wonderful...

Been flying FPV for a few years, coming from Fatshark HD1s with Rapidfire, and the jump in clarity is astounding. Another reviewer has described some faults that are valid, but left a one star review which I feel is unwarranted.

Once you try it, its hard to go back to analog.
I've been flying multi-rotors for almost a decade. This is most mind-blowing upgrade in this field since low-latency ESCs on 32-bit flight controllers... I didn't have the problems that the one star reviewer had. My only real beef is, in typical DJI fashion, their firmware update process is clunky at best and failed for all 3 devices at 95%... luckily I found out from forums that this is "normal" and its a timeout issue when re-enumerating the device on windows 7... Despite the pucker factor that I encountered during the set up, I still give it 4 stars for the performance. In terms of face foam, it feels way better than my Fatshark HD2's original faceplate as well as the HD0 replacement faceplate with the new fan vent channels that I recently swapped to. There is light leakage, but the screen is so clear and bright that I didn't notice at all in practice. On fatsharks, any amount of light leakage made it really hard to focus on the screen. One interesting feature I haven't heard mentioned anywhere is that you can put the headset on while wearing normal full frame glasses.
