You just purchase a Spark, nice little drone, it comes with one battery only. You will think that's more than enough. You take out your drone for the first time, Flight it following all the security requirements in your country. Take some pictures, take some videos and then, in only 10 minutes, you are out of battery. You lower your drone, and you think, i will charge it again and flight some more. While the drone is charge, a black cloud appears in the sky, battery is only on the second light (less than 50% charge). Drops begin to fall, a little rain descends from the sky, but you are still hoping that the battery will get fully charge. By the time you the battery charges, there's already a tropical storm out side your house. You now have a fully charge DJI Spark Battery, and no place to flight. This is the point were you will think: "I should have by an additional battery, or two!" ... show more

Purchased two of these to have a total of three batteries for the Spark. They are legitimate DJI batteries. The serials match up along with everything else. You get the typical 12ish minutes flight time. So the good is that they are the real deal. The bad news is that the fit and tightness can vary. One of these batteries is super stiff to insert. Since there's no easy way to hold the drone, it made inserting this battery fun. The second of the batteries was a nice easy snap in. Over time, the tight one is loosening a bit. However, it's still noticeably harder to insert on the drone than my other 2. I'm not sure why there is such a difference in the same battery. Other than this annoyance, it's fine. ... show more

DJI continues to impress me with these batteries. The consistency of battery life (i.e. diminishes to 50% after roughly 7 minutes of fly time on Sport mode) makes flying for professional shoots really predictable. That's a god send when money and expectations are on the line. The battery consistency actually makes the Spark my bird of choice. Buyer beware max flight time on this is roughly 15-20 minutes. You can get maybe 2-3 sphere panos and 5-6 quickshots, so a lot of set up / flight planning is required if you're on 1 battery. ... show more

The batteries themselves are a perfect fit for my drone. They are clean, solid and provide great power. I wish they were longer lasting. they currently last 15 minutes, to the second. that's great flying time but wish it could be more. one downside and this is more about the drone itself than the batteries; the drone has to reset completely when changing out the batteries. it must be reoriented before the flight. These are genuine DJI Spark batteries with the improved latch design preventing the mid-flight battery ejection issues found in the older/initial batch of DJI spark batteries. Ideally you want to have batteries that have a manufacturing date of 2017 or later to be user you have the newer latch design batteries . The more recent the manufacturing date , the better. I purchased these on 12/2018 and they had a manufacturing date of 07/2018. Very satisfied . Typical flight times for DJI spark batteries are 12-13 mins . I get that with these new batteries ... show more

Just got it in the mail. Was skeptical because of a couple of 1 star reviews. Came in original DJI packaging. Put it directly on my charger to activate the battery and it went to full charge. Haven't flown yet but it snaps into my Spark snugly and passed the tug test. Will update my review if it bricks. All signs point to good battery as of yet.
