I thought the pants were well made and my husband loves them! He finds them easy to get in and out with a boot on! Pockets are pretty deep and the Extra Extra Large fitted him well. The only thing that might be a negative point is that the pants are too long for someone that is a large man but is not as tall! I bought these pants for my husband who has a Foley (urinary) catheter. The zipper on the side makes it easy to dress and easy to access the catheter. The pants are soft and comfortable and the waistband has velcro adjustable bands to ensure a good fit.

I wrote a review about faulty zippers on these pants. But, after using a couple of times, they work beautifully. I have since ordered another pair and will more than likely order more. They work great for my Dad who has trouble changing pants - it makes life easier. We were even able to easily change pants while he sat in the car- which would have been a fiasco if he were wearing regular pants.

These pants are NOT cotton as advertised but they are an absolutely fabulous idea, and very useful if you have had surgery, etc. and need to tend to a wound, apply ice packs, etc. and still wear pants. The problem is that, even after the very first wash, they start to pill, and attract any tiny fiber, hair, etc. they look terrible. It’s the material. Bottom line: if you are only buying them for surgery, recovery, and you don’t mind looking like a sloppy and disheveled, then, OK, go ahead and get them; they are practical. But if you’re looking for good value for your dollars, and some thing you can continue to wear, these are not the pants for you.

My husband had an external fixator put on his foot and couldn't get pants over it. So I bought him these pants and he loves them. He said that they are soft and comfortable and easy to take on/off. They are a lighter material, if you are looking for thick sweat pant material, these are not what you are looking for.
