Description

The Dean Exhibition Quilt Ash Acoustic-Electric Guitar with Aphex is designed to be a perfect companion onstage. Made with quilt ash, the thin body of the Exhibition adds comfort while helping to reduce feedback when plugged in. The slim D-shaped profile of the set mahogany neck is extremely comfortable for electric guitarists and features a 25-1/4" scale. Appointments include a smooth ebony fingerboard, pearl diamond inlays, black NuBone nut & saddle, Grover tuners, and DMT electronics with Aphex Aural Exciter.

The guitar is great..... the box it shipped in was torn open and actually left about 7 inches of the bottom of the guitar exposed. I have no clue how it didn’t get damaged. But the guitar itself had no scratches or anything on it. It looked brand new. And sounds really great. BTW, some of the people have said some thing about the guitars action being high… if you have ever played a Martin, The action is no higher then what you would fine on a Martin. If you are used to playing really low action guitars chomo my advice would be to squeeze a tennis ball a lot on your spare time, so you don’t have such girly man fingers. I’ve seen more people have returned the guitar just because they are claiming that the action is “way too high”... it’s just not true. The guitar is put together well, and I definitely love that thin body. Playing it acoustically, the guitar is loud. Very nice tone. I recommend it. It doesn’t come with a case, so make sure that you already have a case that will fit the guitar, and take in mind that it has a thinner body. So you may need to order one of the cases fitted for it. ... show more

yes the tiger eye kinda looks like brown sugar so it's "sweeter". very nice and stylish look. people around me loves it so much but not more than i do. the only problem i found is that the built in tuner is a little off (lower tuning) though indicating a perfect tune. so i just tune it with my other tuner. overall it doesn't matter it's the best guitar i have (out of 3), great sound and looks. so rock on guys! ... show more

I mostly play this acoustically, and the sound it quite good, but plug it in to really allow it to shine. The on-board tuner is whacky and I instead I use an app on my phone to tune it. I like medium weight strings as they add depth and richness. And the finish and workmanship is just lovely. Try it - you'll like it. ... show more
