abunda_amazon_reviews I was really disappointed in these boots - I had high hopes since they are waterproof with sealed seams (which accounts for one of the two stars I gave it). I have a pair of fleece-lined winter Crocs clogs that I LOVE and live in during the winter. I figured these boots would feel like that but I was very wrong! These boots run perplexingly small - the length seems somewhat short but the width is extremely narrow! Your feet can't spread out comfortably like they should in Crocs and instead are really squeezed...and I tried a size 8 when my normal size is a 6.5!! I read the reviews before ordering and sized up a size and they were still too narrow. Plus, they felt very hard and unforgiving in the sole...not the cushy insole which I was expecting and depend on. The flap can fold up, so they look taller, but you can't lace them up any higher so they will not actually offer additional weather protection when folded up. The boots look very nice and the silvery shimmer is fairly pronounced (almost looking like a dark shimmery gunmetal on the shimmery part instead of black) and that accounts for the other star I gave it...great aesthetics. I am returning immediately though since not at all what I want.;;Reviewed in the United States on December 24, 2016;;2.0 out of 5 stars;;Attractive but VERY narrow and no cushioning...very un-Croc-like;;Amy D.;;/gp/customer-reviews/R3SWTWCP9PRR70/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B01A6L8XUG;;;These are freakin adorable and feel really sturdy. I am 5"2' 118 lbs. I wear between 7.5 and 8. I ordered an 8 and these are snug snug snug with thicker socks, but they feel like a material that will stretch with wear. They are stiff, but they are short boots, so it doesn't bother me. Tall boots that are stiff bug me to no end. Overall, I am in love. Review update 6 months later (5 stars changed to 3 stars): I still love how cute these boots are, but I was wrong about predicting stretch with wear. I have worn these at least 50 times now and they hurt so bad. My heel feels like it is going to split open and my toes feel scrunched together. I usually wear asize 7.5 - 8, my feet are on the slightly wide side, and I bought these in a size 8M. I have tried everything to make these shoes not hurt. I loosen the laces so much that they are only there for aesthetics. I have tried wearing thin socks, regular socks, thick socks, two pairs of thin socks...nothing works. I have to duct tape my heel (beneath my socks) just to wear these. I only wear them because they are really cute, but my heels and my toes hate me by the end of the day. The pros are that they are very sturdy shoes and look like new after 6 months. I walk to and from school and work in the winter with my average commute being 2 miles each way. These boots are really light and a great deal for $50. They aren't super bulky or unfashionable either, in my humble opinion. My feet haven't ached once nor have ever been cold or wet even during walks through almost ankle-deep puddles and slushy snow. I live in Bend, OR and this winter has been brutal. I've never so much as almost slipped even on long stretches of sidewalk covered in 2+ inches of solid ice. They do feel a little narrow though - so I also ordered a size up so that I can determine which fits best. My one major complaint is that the front faux fur flap appears to be two different materials on each boot. One is a smooth faux fur, the other is more sherpa-like (see photo). Also, one of the boots has a little thinner lining than the other, and the boot itself can be seen through the fur. You can kind of see that in the photo as well. Again, I haven't tried on the other size shoe yet so I'm not sure whether I simply got a defective item, or if the issue runs consistently with all of these boots.
