The instruction manual shows all the steps with clear images and all the parts have stickers with the part number. Thus, even though the size is pretty big, I was able to assemble it by myself within 30 minutes. There are a lot of long screws to install so they are as sturdy as the real furniture. Because of that, I don't think it's going to suddenly collapse when my daughter plays with it. Also, the mirror is acrylic so it wont be shattered which I feel is important safety feature for kids toy. Design-wise, this is really good size for my 4 year-old. She can sit on the chair and her feet touch the ground. The base is large so my daughter feels comfortable sitting. The white color can also match with any place so if we ever move to a new place, we can definitely take it with us. Bought this for my daughters 5th birthday. She LOVES it. She has all her special stuff set up on it and can use the little desk to draw or work also. It’s so cute!! Pros: so EASY to put together! It took me 2 hours BUT only because I had two kids crawling all over me and the 2 year old threw the dowels away while we were working on it 🤦♀️. Had I been by myself, I think this could have taken 40 minutes. Very sturdy. Cons: the mirror isn’t a real mirror. Kinda fun house-y? I knew this from reviews already so totally fine with it and kid has t noticed. But worth noting in case this is important to you. Also the mirrors don’t move, but again, I knew that from reviews and it works great for us. We added a cute unicorn stool we found at Tuesday morning and some vanity lights. 10/10 for us and our needs! ... show more

This was easy to instal and perfect for my daughter. There was some bits of damage on the item that we found upon building this item. The mirror is also a little cheap and was easily scratched which was a disappointment

I purchased this for my 2.5 yr old and she loves it. There is definitely a fresh paint smell once the box is opened. Assembly isn’t terrible either. This vanity is also great if you need a little extra storage since it has a couple shelves.

Not too difficult to assemble, however, it has a chemically smell to it. It's been in my daughter's bedroom for a few months now, and I can still smell it. I'm not sure how to get rid of the smell. It is super cute, and it's not a real mirror, so I don't worry about her breaking it. She loves it, and that's all that matters to me. Except that stink. ... show more
