abunda_amazon_reviews This raises smoothly. We bought 2 to enclose televisions in our beach home. They operate separately on remotes so don’t worry that one remote may interfere with the other one. You sit your television firmly on metal brackets. We can review this when we’ve used it more. It’s still new. We’ve built a distressed wooden cabinet in which our televisions rise side by side. I like that the lift operates quietly, smoothly and quickly enough. The one issue I encountered is that there is a small lip along the back side where the top cap attaches to the uppermost telescoping column piece. As a result, when lowering the TV and using a door what just leans on the lift so it is self closing, the edge of the door can catch on the little lip and jam up. The lift seems to operate with plenty of power, so I think my 3/4" thick pine board or the hinges may have broken before the lift if I hadn't intervened. To solve this I installed ramps along the bottom of my door with a profile that makes them ride up and over the little lip. If you are installing with a door like I did just watch out for this and adjust as needed to prevent damage. See video to get a sense of the speed and noise of the lift.;;Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2018;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Bought 2;;L. A. Fitzgerald;;;This lift is great! Metal, bolts, equipment, motor all appear extremely durable. It assembles fairly easily, though the instructions could be a little clearer. With a little mechanical skills, you can figure it out. Once assembled, it is seriously cool! Easy mounting for the TV and it works exactly as advertised...perhaps a little slow moving up and down...but not sure that doesn't make the most sense when you're moving a 55+ TV up and down 40". Remote works flawlessly, but we'll see how it holds up over time. I wish the manual switch had more options for mounting....it can only be mounted in one direction as the bracket and switch are one piece of molded plastic. Be aware, for a 30" height TV, you will require 40" of clearance inside your TV cabinet. This height requirement can vary depending on the mounting screws/holes on the back of the TV....but take your TV height, add 10-12 inches and you'll have the approximate clearance required for the inside of the cabinet. Original: I wanted to avoid making my TV the center of the living room for quite some time, but I couldn't quite live without a TV, so I started looking around for hide-able TV stands, only to realize they were north of $1k. I choose this one since the max height you can make the furniture is the same size as the stand, 33.5 inches, still pretty tall IMO, you can buy ones that are smaller, or if I had access to a metal shop I could probably cut it down another 4 in, but I can live with under 3 feet. Some M-5 screws on the top of the mount make it easy to mount directly to the top. The electric remote and controller box leave something to be desired, I'm 95% sure the remote has a power leak somewhere so batteries last about 3 weeks on it, I'll probably cut into the control box and wire up my own custom switches at some point but it is frustrating not to have hardware buttons incase the battery dies. It does take about 90 sec for it to go up and down, my TV is 43 in and about 15lbs, I would be sceptical to have any TV above 50 in, the metal and brackets are noticeably smaller than most TV mounts, so idk what "heavy" in heavy duty actually means. I did have an issue with the mount not being welded square when all the bolts are in, I had to add shims in order to get it level. All in all, I'd probably buy again.;;Reviewed in the United States on April 7, 2019;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Solid choice, with some work;;Isacc Berger;;;The lift comes with scant instructions, and no screws for actually mounting the television. Most products of this type come with attachment hardware to make the VESA connection to your TV. Instead, I had to go to the local hardware store and spend about $5 to buy metric screws to mount my Samsung TV. Of course, all they had was shiny zinc hex head bolts, which look a little weird on the back of a TV! Otherwise, unit operates as advertised. Just one more word of warning. Check the vertical dimension of your TV. This unit has a limit to how far it lifts, and if you hope to have your TV totally hidden from view, it will not lift it fully out of the cabinet. All in all, I'd probably buy again.

You will need extra parts
The lift comes with scant instructions, and no screws for actually mounting the television. My 55" Samsung is sticking four inches out of my cabinet in order to be fully clear when it is all the way up. YMMV of course.

It’s a great mount but trouble shooting instructions and manual overall should be better made. We kept getting E2 error and we were finally sent a copy of the manual from the manufacturer on how to fix this issue. Hold down the down arrow for 5-10seconds this will restart the lifter. I returned a couple because of this. I knoticed my 3rd unit finally had this in the instructions. I’m giving it 5 stars because it works incredibly well. Just get those instructions fixed.

Well made, stable once secured. Quiet remote controlled operation.
This was Ordered to lift a 55 inch flat screen TV. It is well made. Given the thickness of the steel, it is heavy. The shipment included hardware to secure to the floor and to the vertical surface behind the mount. Very quiet. Takes about 30 seconds +- to reach full height. Installation was straight forward. This lift allowed for positioning the TV between a piece of furniture and a large window. When not in use, it is lowered by pressing the "down" button on the included remote and the TV disappears from sight.
