Features

  • GAS GRILL: Powered by liquid propane gas, this grill runs on a 20-pound propane tank, not included. It reaches cooking temperatures quickly, delivers high temps and maintains even heat.
  • COOKING AREA: Grill up to 24 burgers, 20 chicken breasts or 12 steaks on 475-square-inches of primary cooking space. Cook meats and larger items on the primary grates and use the 130-square inch warming rack to cook with indirect heat and keep food warm.
  • BTU RATING: This grill has a 36,000 BTU rating.
  • SIDE BURNER: A 10,000 BTU side burner lets you keep your sides and sauces warm while you grill. You can also use it to boil water, saute vegetables or brew a pot of coffee. When not in use, flip the lid down and use the surface as an additional workspace.
  • SIDE SHELF: A large side shelf provides ample space to set plates, tools, sauces and rubs while you grill.
  • GRATES: Cast-iron grates are porcelain-coated to resist rust and make them easier to clean. They retain heat to cook food evenly and leave impressive grill marks.
  • CONTROL KNOBS: Control knobs raise and lower the flame for each burner. Turn clockwise to increase the heat and counterclockwise to decrease. They're LED-illuminated to give the grill distinctive style and provide ambient light when grilling at night.
  • IGNITION: Electronic ignition ensures reliable starts every time. Simply turn the control knob, press the ignition button and the burners are lit.
  • TEMP GAUGE: The lid-mounted temperature gauge displays accurate temps, so you always know the cooking temperature inside your grill.
  • GREASE TRAY: A removable grease tray catches drippings and slides out for easy cleaning. You can insert an aluminum liner to contain the drippings and keep the grease tray clean. When youre all done, simply throw the liner away.

    • Entry level gas grill gets the job done

I had the previous version of this product, liked it, and bought the new one as a replacement after years of hard use. This is a great entry-level grill, with nothing fancy. That means less stuff can go wrong, and I've found both this one and its predecessor to hold strong against demanding use. There are 4 internal burners under the grates, and one on the side, which puts out just enough heat to keep a small pot simmering. I assembled it, and the whole process took maybe 30-45 minutes with tools. The grill comes together easily, with the notable exception of some of the bolts attaching the horizontal side wings to the main body. You will want a short bit or ratcheting driver for these, space is tight! One last note on upkeep: you need to CLEAN OUT the gas tubes after long periods of non-use, to clear out spider webs and other debris that can block gas flow. The only real complaint I have is the propane holder, which is different from the previous version, and looks like they removed a LOT of supporting material. The propane tank is held in place, but maybe not as firmly as before... Still, for the money, I'm very happy with this grill and expect to get years of work from it. ... show more

Excellent heavy duty grill. Stainless steel is the way to go for keeping a grill clean. It's sturdy and with proper care, will last for years. I chose the Char-Broil manufacturer because replacement parts are readily available if needed down the road.

My wife and I have been married almost 30 years and this is our third grill. All have been CharBroil. The reason we had to purchase a new one was a wind storm caught our grill cover and knocked over the last CharBroil 2-burner we had destroying the lid hinges. We continued to use it but enough was enough, The old grill was retired after much searching, we found this grill on Amazon at a really great price. The stainless was a bonus as we had been looking at the traditional black and for the price we purchased this one. I have read reviews and articles that deem CharBroil as a lower end budget grill but as I can attest, at an average of 15 years per grill, they are also very durable. I will continue to buy CharBroil as long as they are sold. Now as to features, stainless steel with stainless burners and venturi tubes, tool free grease tray removal, nice wide porcelain grates, porcelain firebox, integrated lid thermometer, and separate side burner (which I do not use) that seems to be popular with grills, and opposite side prep tray. I was really surprised that an empty propane tank was not included as my last two grills had. I have the tank from the last grill for exchange so it's ok. The only problem I have with this grill is the assembly. The instructions included a part numbering system but the actual parts had no numbers on them. I viewed each assembly step and matched up the parts from numerous boxes to match and was able to complete the task. ... show more

    • Good grill, but the instructions need revamp

My husband and I assembled this last weekend and it took a couple hours to do so. First let me say the grill works wonderfully so far, and I have no complaints as far as the grill working. As a matter fact I’ll go ahead and say that the grill works excellent. I like the features on the grill like the warming rack, the hot plate on the side, and especially all the room on the shelves to store salt and pepper condiments things like that. Here’s what I don’t like: THE LACKLUSTER INSTRUCTIONS. This isn’t my first rodeo at following instructions to put something together, and these instructions, while not the worst, were certainly not the best. There’s a couple items I would tweak if I were the designer writing instructions. Just trying to see some of the pictures was really tough at times, and I think if they either made the picture slightly larger, or added a few words next to the diagram, it could’ve saved my husband and I some time, and one mistake.
