We chose this coffee table since it’s made of reclaimed wood with a modern farmhouse look. Although a laminate top is easier to clean and usually less expensive, it looks cheap so you get what you pay for. For the price, this is an amazing piece of furniture. No one piece will be identical so it’s unique. As one reviewer mentioned, a discerning furniture buyer might scoff at the cost of this pre-boxed piece with a metal frame, but it’ll do just fine for most everyone looking for a good “bang for your buck” buy. Again, it appears more expensive than it is. Shipping was amazing as usual and it arrived 2 days sooner than promised from Amazon. No damage and all hardware was accounted for. Assembly is easy for one person and took me about 30 minutes. I did not use an electric or battery powered drill to screw the 2 wood surfaces to the frame. If your wrists are of average strength, I recommend hand screwing the wood screws underneath with a plain old Philips-head screwdriver while the table is up on its left or right end. It grabs the wood easily while you pull wood against the metal and I just tighten enough until you hear and feel the screw bite down. Any more or using a powered device and you may strip the wood and leave a loose fitting top. Great buy and it looks awesome! ... show more

Its a good table. It was easy to assemble, but some of the metal parts did not end up straight which made the screws go in crooked, but all in all we like the table.

    • Real solid wood table. Great Customer Service
First thing first, I want to say how great the customer service I received with this purchase. The customer service representative, Nathan has been very informative and proactive when solving an issue I had with my first shipment. The first table I received had a crack in the middle but that's most likely due to the wood board used and not the craftsmanship of the table itself. The biggest reason I contacted the company about a replacement was due to the first table I received was a greenish tint that greatly differed from the stock photos. I emailed the company with my concerns and attached photos of the table I received. Nathan, first explained to what likely happened that caused the discoloration and was very sincere in making it right. So he not only sent me a new table right away he also kept me informed on the tracking and made sure that the replacement table meet my satisfaction. The table itself is very well constructed. Solid wood and metal. Not that cheap MDF composite stuff that seems to be every where. This is thankfully real reclaimed wood. Pretty straightforward with putting it together. I gave only 4 stars but it's really 4.8. My only gripe is that 1/8" off center but it's not even noticeable I just have ocd lol when it comes to building things. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and definitely would recommend this table. ... show more

**UPDATE** After I contacted the seller, I got in touch with their rep Nathan & he was super helpful & VERY communicative via email. He apologized & sent replacement wood & it is in much better shape than the first delivery. They even FedEx’d it to expedite the delivery. I am now VERY pleased with my purchase! ——- I recently ordered this reclaimed wood coffee table & it is not the good quality I expected from all the reviews I read before buying. For starters, there is a chipped side on the top piece, which snags on skin and clothes when anyone walks by it. Not kid-friendly for that reason. Also the whole top is horribly dented & I got a splinter in my hand from it. I understand this is reclaimed wood but it’s like I got the worst most dented up piece of wood. It looks like someone took a hammer to it. :( Also, the wood is WAY darker than all of the sample pics I saw on Amazon. I was hoping for a lighter piece. I really want a nicer replacement if possible. One with no dents on the side, less damaged, lighter color. I emailed the company & asked if they can replace it. If they can make it right, I will update my review. I want to write a positive review but right now I cannot... I’m so sad. I have wanted this table for 2 years & finally bought it. I had saved up for it & was so excited. :( The only positive I can say is that it arrived on time as promised. So, there’s that... ... show more

Looks great, functional with full size bottom shelf and reasonably sturdy, though don't climb/jump on it, the surface is not thick and does not feel that sturdy. 4 stars because there were some splinter ready imperfections on the top surface. I have to admit I was a little underwhelmed initially when I received these tables (I ordered a coffee table and end table). Assembly was easy, despite others here saying you need help, it was quite easily assembled solo. The look is a cross of industrial and farmhouse and really compliments the theme of my living room. These aren't high-end pieces and discriminating furniture snobs may roll their eyes, but truthfully they look great in a den, a bachelor pad, or any room where you want a rustic, industrial look. Like I said, initially I was underwhelmed because they looked too basic and cheap. But as I was assembling them, I was impressed by how solid and sturdy the table was. Every piece is light weight and easy to move while you're assembling it. For the price, the value is tremendous and the look is great. They certainly don't look as inexpensive as they are. My only regret is that I can't find a matching hallway / sofa table by the same manufacturer. ... show more
