Bought this kit and was very happy. One of the lenses was damaged and the seller replaced it instantly with what turned out to be a better quality lens than was originally sent. I was very happy. One Word of Caution. Some one at this seller's location is a heavy smoker. All of the softgoods, camerabag, strap, etc. smells heavily of cigarette smoke. I've had this equipment for over three weeks now and every time I use it I get that sickening smell of smoke. Too bad. ... show more

    • Auxillary lenses do not fit onto the camera body.
I only use Amazon as my online retailer. That way when my card gets hacked, and it has, I know who to go to. Purchasing from Amazon is easy (I'm a Prime member), however if you have a problem, they are next to impossible to get a problem resolved. Try getting an 800 number for assistance!! In this case, I could barely understand the Amazon rep (from Coasta Rica), and the seller's rep from "Paging Zone" not only couldn't be understood, he got mad at me and yelled even louder. They're using a cheap microphone and the person was too close to be understood. I tried to be polite and we finally got things resolved. The auxiliary lenses that come with the camera are screw mounts while the camera body takes bayonet mounts. You have to screw the auxiliary lenses to the front of the standard lens that comes with the camera. Never in my life have I seen such a screwed up Mickey Mouse system. Luckily, the camera (Canon) itself is good quality but, this "BUNDLED" package is not worth the money. Buy the basics but go somewhere else for the additional equipment needed. And, don't expect getting help from Amazon!! Wife tried using the auxiliary lenses screwed on to the standard lens, as described by Paging Zone, and it looks like shooting through a tunnel or paper towel roll core. GOD AWFUL!! ... show more

It’s a very nice camera. It has taken some wonderful pictures. It was my first major camera purchase. I am learning so much and this camera is so easy to work with and forgiving of newbie mistakes. It is a little confusing at first with all the accessories. Especially if you don’t know about anything about photography to begin with but it’s very easy to learn if you just try. ... show more
