abunda_amazon_reviews I wanted to like this item, but I ended up shipping it back. The problem is that the grips are much too wide for the average person. I felt like the grips were too far apart, and all the exercises felt compromised because I was too busy trying to overcompensate and not get hurt. The price fluctuates quite a bit so when if dropped down I finally went for it, but it wasn't the right machine after all. PRO's: -Construction is good for the price -Can do all exercises from one side which is a huge plus if you want to save space. Some units require you to work from both sides so this was nice to do all from one -It is big and that is a good thing, since it is built to withstand lots of use -Feels sturdy and solid CON's: -The pull up bar grip feels uncomfortably wide -The pull up bar grips point downwards, not a deal breaker, but definitely something you'll have to get used to -The elbow pads also feel uncomfortably wide I still give it 3 stars because the unit itself is decent overall for the price, but its definitely not a size to accommodate all people of all sizes both big, average, and small.;;Reviewed in the United States on August 23, 2016;;3.0 out of 5 stars;;Great Tower IF you are a big person;;Frank S;;;I looked a quite a few other power towers on here, many of which have poor reviews. This one arrived with all the necessary parts and a reasonably good set of instructions - not perfect, but I've seen worse. It is beefier than I expected - the bottom frame is square box tubing, while the vertical supports are round, but both are 3" across. The padding on the arms and back seem plenty adequate - the logo is even embroidered, not just a patch or sticker. As mentioned in a couple other reviews, there are two places where the nuts are placed way too close to the vertical support, so it is hard to get the nut onto the bolt properly - but it can be done (I could have used a dremel or angle grinder to make it easier, but didn't need to). I'm well north of 200lbs and this doesn't appear to flex at all when doing pull-ups or leg raises. My only wish is that the pull-up bar had more of a mid-range position - the outer grips seem too far away and awkward, even though I am over 6' tall. I guess I wish the push-up grips also had adjustable positions, but I am aware that would likely raise the cost. Overall I am very happy with the purchase, and am using it far more than I expected I would. And no, I was not compensated in any way for this review - I paid full price.;;Reviewed in the United States on September 1, 2018;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;I'm glad I did the research, this is the one to get!;;M. It almost took me longer to unpack it then it did to assemble. I am a 50-year-old single woman, and I put this together all by myself in approximately two hours. So that should show you that you can do it it’s very easy. The instructions were great, the way they labeled the nuts bolts screws and washers, made it fool proof. The parts were neatly packaged and the bolts, nuts, and washers were sealed by part number on cardboard backing. The welding appears to be stronger and thicker on the dip bars. I used a box cutter to trim around the pieces so that I could easily reference the pieces needed per build stage. Overall, it took me about two hours to build using two wrenches and a phillips screwdriver. Once built, it looks nice and feels sturdy when doing pull ups, except for the fact my torso rubs against the backrest. The dip bars require extra firm tightening because they will wobble left and right about an inch otherwise. I love having this in my office for a quick energy burst. Wonderful;;;You definitely get what you paid for, and I got exactly what I paid for. It's inexpensive, and a great value. I'm sorry but it's barely a 6 month gym membership for what is about a half-body workout tool. I read reviews about how the arms move - yeah what do you expect for a signle-mount lever. If you're up to the challenge and don't want them to move, find a buddy with a welder or mount your own cross-bar. Assembly was easy, about 45min with a drill and right bits. Only complaint is the vertical hand grips. They are in a location where my arms hit them when I use the wide-grip pullup and they are really too-loose to leave folded down and they cover the dip hand grips. I'm probably going to permanently remove them. Only thing is I would have paid more for a different pull-up configuration, like maybe perpendicular grips or a bent bar.;;Reviewed in the United States on April 13, 2017;;4.0 out of 5 stars;;This is a really great value Power Tower option;;Mark Heffernan;;;I typically do not write reviews as they are very important in sniffing through the real deals from the impostors. I had to give this a review since there were not much when I bought this. I had my doubts, but this was one of the lowest priced multi-function tower that I had wanted so I decided to give it a shot. I am so far very pleased with the product. The quality is sturdy and strong. I hate weak ass b$%!@ made home work out items, this is not of one those. I mean, it's not commercial gym equipment, but I'd liken this to my Ironmasters bench - strong an sturdy base for exactly what you need it for, no wobbling around or some BS. Assembly was also smooth. It took me by myself a little while, but the directions were on point and very easy to understand. The parts were also well cut and though I am not sure if this was made in the USA, the quality sure felt this way..... if this was made in China or something... wow... have they come a long way (I'm Chinese so I can say that lol) Anyways, good product, good price, I would recommend it.;;Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2018;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Sturdy product, so far so good.
