abunda_amazon_reviews I originally purchased the Bissell cross wave cordless max and was disappointed in the mapping performance. I purchased this and was much happier with the outcome. I love the cordless feature and the fact that the map propels its self, eliminating strain on my back. If you go over the same spot, it will lift dried messes. I like the ability to determine how much cleaner gets dispensed. I also like that the pads remain in place and yet are easy to remove. It is an added bonus that you can throw them in the wash and save on additional costs. I have laminate floors with a shine finish so there was minimal streaking but that happens when I manually scrub them myself. The motorized mop cuts my cleaning time in half. Overall this is definitely a keeper for me! Check out my pic!;;Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2020;;4.0 out of 5 stars;;It’s a Keeper!;;Colleen;;;I really wanted to love this little machine. There are some great features, but overall, it's a 3-star rating for me. I love cleaning gadgets. I had a Bissell hard floor scrubber years and years ago that was my best friend. It scrubbed, it battled dirt, it sucked up the grime. I knew this wasn't my old Bissell, but I hoped it would "scrub" and get some of the grime off of the floors I encountered in my new home. Meh. Just meh. The good - it's very lightweight. It's easy to maneuver. And it does kind of clean. A bit. If you were just maintaining a floor and doing light touch-ups in between heavier cleanings, this would be a good tool to add to your collection. But it does not "scrub", does not remove any stuck on or hard-to-clean dirt, and doesn't really pick up any of the dirty water you produce from a good cleaning. In a pinch, I take a bottle of Windex, spray the floor real quick, put a paper towel under my shoe, and give a good quick cleaning to an area needing attention (my mother-in-law taught me that trick). This is sort of the same type of solution - only it's prettier and has soft spinning pads to essentially do the same thing. It's not a mop and does not produce the same mop-like results you would expect from a machine costing this amount. If you'd like a gadget to add to your collection, go for it. If you're looking for a solid cleaning tool that gets solid results, I'd really look elsewhere. They even passed the “white paper towel test.” After I mopped, and the floor was still wet, I wiped a paper towel over my tile. No dirt! I posted a video of me mopping on Facebook, because when I love something, I feel the need to tell the world. Five people ordered one, and they are all thrilled with them. I legit get excited about mopping now. Why would I make that up? It's humiliating, but oh so true. I keep it plugged in and filled with soap solution in my pantry (the solution lasts forever BTW, even in my 4000+SF house) and when I get the urge it's ready to go. I've had it a few days, and although it's working well (the cordless seems to have plenty of power and charges fairly quickly) and it's lightweight and convenient to use, I'm disappointed in how well it's cleaning my ceramic tile floor. My disappointment is specifically about the material construction of the pads. The scruffy pads are still quite soft, and when I first opened the box, I thought these pads were the soft ones. After several "go over's" on my kitchen floor, I could still see a cast of soiled areas even though the proper amount of Bissell cleaner was added to the tank. I know that the Spinwave floor mop doesn't pick up water, but I expected the pads to have enough absorption to pick up small amounts of the sprayed solution..similar to the amount of wetness that you might get with a hand mop. If you use enough of the solution to wet the area, you are left with a wet floor. Even a small amount of sprayed water just moves around rather than being absorbed. For quick daily clean-up's a hand mop is quicker and more effective. For more thorough cleaning, the pads help to loosen the surface grime, but fall short as described above. Perhaps I just need a different machine for my purposes. For those of you who like the performance of the Spinwave, you will find that this cordless version delivers.;;Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2018;;3.0 out of 5 stars;;Cordless a plus, but cleaning is a disappointment;;Marnie
