    • Sound drops constantly

Pretty big disappointment. I was initially really excited about this headset but practical use is awful. The design and fit are great, the sound is fantastic, and the mic works well. The hub that is included is a great design that let's you charge the headset through the usb port that they added on it so you don't have to unplug the usb from the ps4. The problem I had with this headset is the wireless connection. It's terrible. I literally have to shut off every other device in the room and make sure there are no other wireless signals nearby so that the sound won't cut out intermittently while playing Call of Duty. And even with all other devices off, it still happens, in game and even on the ps4 dashboard. I've updated both the headset and the hub, and gone as far as moving my cellphone to another room and nothing helps. I ended up purchasing a pair of Turtle Beach Stealth 700s and they have zero problems dropping sound. The Astros have much better sound quality, but you can't count on them working properly. ... show more

I purchase the Astro A20 headset for My PS4. I ignored the reviews on Amazon which I will never do again. I saw lots of positive reviews by YouTube streamers which now I figure for paid or received free gear. But any way I charged them over night and only got 45 minutes of use before the microphone stopped working. Now I have to ship them back for a new pair or return to Amazon and wait for my money back. Okay, second time trying to poat my review. I thought I had bought these new considering its a gift. Its really embarrassing giving a gift thats used first of all. Second, we couldnt get them to work for the first 45 minutes. I dont know what we did but we got them to work magically. The one time I didnt look at reviews because I was so relied on everyone telling me this brand of headsets is amazing, I went in blind. Please read these reviews. The one time I didnt look at reviews, I get a barely functional product. I highly suggest spending a little more money and going to your nearest gaming store or electronic store for these. Please take my advice. Literally the first thing my boyfriend text me was "these are definately used, did you buy these like this?" Totally embarrassing and I was instantly infuriated. ... show more

This headset won't power on any longer. We literally used it for 2 months. And my return window closed 2 months after I bought it (bought it in November for Christmas in December) so there wasn't even ample time to use the product before it no longer worked and I have no recourse.

    • Audio and Chat Volume level buttons do not work at all.

Volume buttons do not work as advertised in neither PC or PS4. You cannot control the audio volume on game and voice chats separate. One goes up the other goes up, one goes down the other goes down. That makes it really bad for gaming since you cant discriminate between audios. When it came out of the box it was in original box and looked brand new with everything i needed. It did not come with set up instructions, because on the PS4 you need to change your audio settings entirely for them to work properly and you have to update the firmware for them on a computer. Once all that was set up they worked great. However they do have a tendency of disconnecting the mic. Its only happened once so far, but that still is unacceptable for a pair of headphones. I would recommend these for sure. They also arrived a day early and that was great. They are extremely comfortable as well as clear audio. You can also adjust the specs to your liking on the app for astro gaming with a computer which is also a plus. ... show more
