    • Provide Better Visibility While Biking
These little lights are the best and do exactly what you want them to do. Plenty of reviews describing what they are and how to use so I will address a couple complaints I read. The rubber bands (you get 4) are just that...rubber. So don't be stretching them too hard or far or they will break. Just clip one end onto the light, wrap around any bar on the bike and affix the other end to the plastic lip on the clip. Another complaint I read was that one of the plastic clips broke. Again, don't pull on the clip too far or hard. You need to pull it out just enough to get one end of the rubber band inserted and in place. If you pull too hard it's going to break. Finally, the materials used are basically just plastic casing with LED lights inside. If you drop or mishandle chances are they are going to break. At this price I didn't expect high quality materials. That being said they work great. I generally set them to the slow blink mode as I think that creates the best visibility in traffic. If you are riding at dusk or in darkness they definitely stand out. I have noticed since putting them on that oncoming cars do notice them and start moving over a little earlier. I generally charge once a week but could go longer. Since a bike is basically nothing but tubes, you can pretty much put them whereever you want so versatility is available. I waited about four months to report on thist. Now I decided I have to comment this here. I clip either one of these lights on to my dogs collar when we are walking at night. It's way brighter than any of the ones you buy at the pet store. And, it's rechargeable! You can see the reaction of cars on my street when they see the light, they slow down. If you walk your dogs at night, you really should get these. I also have added a rechargeable caller that lights up ........ UPDATE the chrome ring fell off. Doesn't bother me. These are still saving my dog from cars on my street. every night. We walk in the roads and get out of the way when we see car lights. Also Waterproof. My dog swam in a creek one night because he saw a beaver.The red light went under about 5 inches for about 3 minutes 4 times. He didn't catch the beaver, but the water lit up in red so I always new where he was. Still 5 star after a year + ... show more

    • Great lights, however ...
I loved these lights. I talked my husband into getting them too. We both have electric scooters and these were perfect for added safety. HOWEVER, I have had mine since November 2016 & he bought his in March 2017 and both of us are having issues with the battery in the red tail light. I used the included USB cord & tried other as well and even after charging for 3-4 hours the tail light dies within Minutes. Archer was very responsive and pleasant to deal with. Unfortunately, because the light is part of a set, they cannot be replaced individually, nor can the battery be replaced. They offered us each a $7 refund for the tail light, which we accepted, but would have happily forgone the refund for a light that works. Given that we bought the lights 4 months apart and having the same problem, that says to me there may be a quality control issue. I really hope it is addressed because they are very good lights and was very happy with them. I even bought a set to keep in the car, in case of emergencies (flat tire, etc) & need to be seen. I am disappointed I have to look for something else. Btw, the head (white) light is working just fine. ADDENDUM 9/16/17: After seeing this review, Ascher contacted me again and offered to replace the set or give me a full refund. Both of which I thought was very nice (& good business). I declined the set because my headlight is working just fine. I told them I would accept the refund. However, they replied saying they would do so if I deleted my review! That seems a bit shady and not terribly honest to me. I, for one, read reviews to assist in the decision making process regarding products here at Amazon. My review specifically states I like the lights VERY MUCH and was very happy with Customer Service ... that was until they asked me to delete it. Instead, I declined their refund and said I prefer that customers are able to know it is possible the tail light could die. ... show more

Just ordered my third set of these [have a few bikes and I will not ride without lights]. The absolute best; and I've tried a few. All more expensive by the way. They're rechargeable,fit most head tubes as well as handlebars and they give you extra straps. They are remarkably bright [can be seen from the side too] with three bulb pattern and the charge lasts quite a while. Lastly, they look cool ~ round chrome like shape. At first, I thought these were great lights, probably like most people here who write a review 10 minutes after using the product one time. I’ve had these for 3 months now. One light will not stay on for more than 4-5 hours - while we are told 10 hours of battery life in the product’s docs. That is all and good for bicyclists, but I use these on a motorcycle, and am frequently out for more than 4 hours. 40% - 50% of promised battery life makes me somewhat dissatisfied. These lights have so much potential. I like the mounting strap system. I use them on my backpack when I ride, and the straps fit great in the MOLLE system on my 5.11 tactical rush 12 backpack. I just wish the one, red in this case, light would stay on longer. Update: I was offered a coupon from the maker to get a new set of lights for free. Bumping to 3 stars for superior customer service. I will try the new light (red in my case) and report back here. Update2 (29-Nov-2017): I have tested the new red (tail) light, and at least for now, the light stayed on at full power for over 5 hours. 2x the promised life in the product docs. So, I am encouraged by the replacement. I will use these new lights and update again at a later date. ... show more
