  • Includes triple purpose pre-filter engineered to help inhibit bacterial growth while trapping large suspended particles such as dirt, sand, silt, sediment, and rust on the outer layer. It absorbs chlorine, improves taste, removes odor, color, VOCs, and much more, ultimately preventing contaminants from entering your home. Also extends the lifespan of your water softener.
  • The Harmony Lite is rated to treat 34,000 grains of hardness by removing skin-damaging minerals such as calcium, and magnesium, which are known to clog skin pores, cause irritation and leave hair feeling dry and damaged. Removal of hard minerals will also help prevent soap scum from forming in showers and bathtubs. Soft water will also prevent limescale buildup on water fixtures, toilet bowls, and water appliances.
  • The system is equipped with an Aquatrol Advanced Digital On-Demand Meter Control Head, to automatically clean and flush ion-exchange resin beads inside the tank. The Harmony Lite comes with a bypass valve for easy maintenance. An installation guide and all the necessary connectors and poly tubing are included with the kit. All you need is access to a 120V electrical outlet, main water line, and a drain.

I am writing this review as I go (revamping my hot water closet) & will update as things progress. First, the same exact model is over $100 less at Lowes, which is a crazy price difference. I got this for a small 2 person house & it's perfectly spec'd for that. FedEx boneheads delivered the package upside down. So much for "This side up". This caused the resin in the tank to pack the temporary cap that seals the resin tank during shipping. Got it cleaned up & really not that big of a big deal. Upon unboxing I was questioning what I got myself into. Lots of parts, but it's not too bad when you get into it. The instructions could be better. There are included parts that aren't mentioned in either instruction manual (the filter or the softener). I'm sure at some point I'll figure out where they go. I don't like how this is supposed to be a space saving unit but after all connections are made the depth of the system is well over 2 feet long. When running 1 inch pex your shortest length of pipe is 3 1/2 inches, plus you'll have an elbow on the end of it. Plan on needing exactly 27 1/2 inches front to back w/ pex. Having the option to run the inlet and outlet from the sides (instead of the back) would have been much more ideal in my situation, but I was able to make it work with a half inch to spare. Once it was all connected, the initial system setup was pretty easy. As said before, the instructions could have been laid out a little better. Luckily they made the product pretty idiot proof (thankfully for me). I just went with all of the default settings. Also, no leaks & no issues whatsoever on first day of use. The wife approves - both of our skin/hair is definitely softer. No need for lotion and even my beard hair feels like I've put conditioner or beard oil on it. Will update as time goes on. I had really hard time to seal any and all connections. I used tons of tape, seals, it leaked and leaked. Maybe plastic and brass connection. Not sure, but I connected 3 softeners ( whirlpool) and never had so many troubles as with this one. When I asked the company what to do with it, that it leaks and leaks, they notified me that my softener was registered. Period. Like this is how much we care. To know it, I would spend $100 more and get it done in no time and no more money and no frustration. Do NOT buy if you don't want frustration. Their filer is the same quality. No instructions included for the water softener. The only manual was for the whole house pre-filter. I check all the boxes and inside the system. Pulled out all the smaller part but no manual. I guess I will have to guess on how it’s put together. It shouldn’t be hard but it would be nice to have something to refer too. ... show more
