My Opinion: Get it! Super happy with this purchase of a used/refurbished iPad Pro 9.7 128GB through Lonestar Mobile. I got it in 2 days not 6 days as I was originally quoted. It made no sense for me to spend any more than 250 on something that my kid will probably end up using more than me. So this is perfect. The size is perfect for a kid. I think the newer ones are just too big for little hands. I was nervous about the condition & battery drain issues from the reviews. I figured I had to try it out, for a couple hundred bucks, and I could always return it. Also, the battery can be replaced. But the battery is totally fine. CONDITION: Nothing that is noticeable without really looking for it (surface scratches). The screen is perfect. I do love that I am buying a used device - it seems more earth friendly. BATTERY: This one lasts 4 hours & takes 2 hours to fully charge. Not sure how long it should last, but out 10 yr old iPad 2 battery lasts for 8+ hours of use and it is the original battery. This battery can be replaced, but we haven’t noticed it being a problem for our casual usage. PERFORMANCE: Fantastic. This is an incredible iPad Pro - with stereo speakers, laminated screen (means far less glare), seamless apple pencil interface, crisp images, vibrant colors, true tone, etc. Do I need all of the minor tech improvements that are in the brand new 2022 iPad Pros? NO. I don't even know I'm missing anything with this one as it is already such a high tech device. I don't care if this one has a bezel and the newer ones don't - actually having the bezel as a place to grab onto it makes more sense to me. You don't get fingerprints all over the edge of the screen you have to use. STORAGE: I loaded this 128GB iPad Pro down with all of the photography, video editing, and design apps I could ever want, about 30 games/fun apps, as well as 6 full feature length movies downloaded, plus all of the original apps it comes with...and that used 31GB. Once I get artwork and videos on there to work with I will use up more space. But that might give you an idea of how much memory you will need. I say get the 128GB just because it isn't that much more. But getting any more than that is overkill for the average user..unless it is the same price or close to it. ACCESSORIES INCLUDED: The charging block looks like the one that comes with the newer iPads, but it is not marked with any logos. They charged my iPad completely in close to 2.5 hours. UPDATE: It has been 2 months and still agree this is an excellent buy. Got the Apple pencil and also have connected to my new Apple keyboard. Everything works perfect.
