    • You better have the right power supply if you want to charge your iPad.
Through charging requires a special charger wall plug. Your regular iPad charging block won’t do it. I also cannot get the headphones monitor to work. I may end up having to record on my older iPad that uses the lighting cable. I was looking forward to using the iPad Pro for this project.

I have 2 of these in the family and they are great. When used with a magic keyboard the addition of the hub makes it easy to do everything from showing a movie or presentation over hdmi to transferring pictures off a sad card or external ssd. I have a large number of anker products i have purchased over the years and not once have i had to use their warranty program and that speaks volumes to their quality ... show more

    • Can Work BACKWARDS with iPad Pro & iPad Mini 2021…
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this originally for an iPad Air 5, but soon gave it away and purchased myself a 12.9” Pro 2021. I quickly noticed that the dock no longer fit snuggly onto the iPad. More importantly, it didn’t work at all with any of the ports (while some reviews said it may barely work at all. At this point, I’m out of the return policy window and I felt frustrated that I didn’t get a more traditional “cable” hub from Anker because now I just have a paperweight! However, I soon discovered that if you flip the hub backwards, it will work. I assume the hub’s front lip to secure itself on the iPad isn’t wide enough to accommodate the slightly larger 12.9” iPad Pro. In the video, you can see I flip it and it works properly with an external display in Stage Manager. Outside of the video, I tried it with my iPad Mini 2021 backwards and it also worked. I do want to emphasize: buy with caution. I may have been lucky, but if you really are desperate for this form factor of a USB-C hub, and can’t wait for another version, try your luck using it backwards like me. ... show more

    • It is USB-C but not for Android
This will not work for most Android products. It has molded prongs that keep it from being inserted fully in an Android but will work for i-crap products. Remove the prongs and it works for Android. It works great though. Good build quality and makes life simple. Too bad they only made this to be used in crapple products when they could have left out the prongs and have it work for everyone. ... show more
